(Apr. 24, 2026) — “They have but one goal: a Caliphate here in the USA. They have but one goal: to kill every non-Muslim in the USA. They have but one goal: replace the Constitution with Sharia Law. They don’t hide the fact; they don’t sugarcoat the fact; all they do is hammer home the fact. Islam is a creed of an army set on the destruction of anything not Islam. Ancient artifacts, including the pyramids of Egypt, statues of people, including Michelangelo’s ‘David,’ paintings of people, including Leonardo di Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa,’ will be wantonly erased from existence if the so-called ‘religion’ of Islam conquers Western Civilization.”

“And that’s my opening. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Way back when, there was a presidential candidate who advocated using the United States Army to deport every Muslim from our country and once that was done move on up to Canada and provide the same courtesy to them. Once North America was free of the scourge, go over to Europe and cleanse their lands, too. Too bad his platform wasn’t shared. With us to explain it better than I is Professor Wert, the well-known author of political books for children. Welcome.”

“Thank you for having me. What if infinity were really a fact? What if the universe never had a beginning? Has no top, sides, bottom, what then?”

“I would ask what difference would it make?”

“I think the difference is how to approach space travel and contemplate how our world works.”

“And you’re including the universe as in ‘our world.’”

“Yes, I am. I’m including Mars as part of my own personal back yard; Jupiter, too.”

“How does that help you?”

“It helps me realize what an insignificant grain of sand I am, not to take myself too seriously, which is why I take such great pains to express positivity in the books I write for children. Life is precious, not to be taken for granted, because many people die every day on our planet and all age groups are represented. The trick is to live a life as Jesus would live it which is wishful thinking, but there’s no harm trying, is there?”

“I ought to ask you to preach at my little church down on Hawthorn Street.”

“Look, we’re in dire straits. We have a government that welcomes millions of people who want to kill us or want us dead; same difference. We have a government that turns its back on what the people they brought in say they will do to us. It’s in the news every day. I listen; you listen, so why doesn’t our government listen? Is it that they don’t care, or maybe they don’t believe the newcomers will kill us, or maybe they got paid off for looking the other way, or maybe, just maybe, they’re stupid.”

“I vote for ‘stupid.’”

“I think you’re right. We have half the country suffering from TDS, poor souls, and I would truly feel sorry for them except it’s people like them who get people like me killed. When I told my squad that the smoking light was out while on patrol, if you lit up, you’re on point, and once you’re out of sight, I’m taking the squad in another direction. It’s called life; deal with it.”

“What about Trump?”

“He means well and I think he’s doing a terrific job, but I offer two suggestions. One is to deport our Muslims and, two, get women off NAVY ships. And if he can’t send in the Marines to spring Tina Peters, perhaps a squad of Veterans could do it.”

“It’s a thought.”

“Do you know there are two galaxies that you can see with the naked eye?”

“I think most people think Islam is a religion; that’s a problem, isn’t it?”

“Not with me. Think of Islam as a ‘Death Cult’ and you’ll be just fine. There are more stars than grains of sand on our planet; remember that.”

“I’ll remember, for sure. Well, this is your Pastor Dunkin, along with Professor Wert, wishing each of you a goodnight: Goodnight.
