The Post & Email respects the privacy of its users and will never share personal information with third parties without a direct request from an individual.

Occasionally a reader will ask to be put in contact with another reader, at which point we will ask the third party if he or she is agreeable to the request. If the answer is affirmative, we will make the introduction; if not, the connection will not be made, and no personal information on either side will be released.

“Personal information” includes your email address, IP address (which appears when you submit a comment to an article), your phone number if you have ever shared that with us, residence address if that has been provided, or your real name if you have been using a screen name.
