(Apr. 24, 2025) — “Send in the Clowns” (4:10)

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Madam Shylock had a dream that she’s anxious to share with us, so let’s hear it.”

“That is true – the ‘anxious’ part — but it is also true that your introduction was the worst in broadcasting history, thank you very much. I have never been so insulted in my life; therefore I’ll turn you into something really horrible, maybe a reincarnation of yourself. Meanwhile, let me share my dream with your audience.”

“Go ahead.”

“Don’t talk to me, rude man. Remember when Kennedy sent the troops down to Alabama to let some kids go to school? You don’t? You weren‘t born then? Well, it happened. Here’s my dream, so pay attention.

The dream starts off with Henry riding atop an M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank leading a column of armor and infantry storming the cage that they are unlawfully holding Tina Peters somewhere in the failed State of Colorado.

“Is it in color with sound?”

“Did I hear somebody speak when they’re not supposed to?”

“No.”

“Very well.

Henry frees Tina Peters and then directs the column to the Governor’s mansion and the Attorney General’s office to arrest and INCARCERATE THEM.

And then I wake up with a smile.”

“Sounds like a good dream. Thank you for sharing that with us and so, this is your ‘in-the-doghouse’ Roving reporter, along with Madam Shylock, wishing each of you a goodnight: Goodnight.

“Good show. And she left without saying goodbye. I’m grabbing a burger.”
