(Jun. 13, 2023) — In a tweet Friday, Mary Fanning of The American Report tweeted a response to a conversation between Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn (Ret) and film producer and writer Mike Cernovich regarding the timing of the Justice Department’s announcement of an indictment of 45th President Donald J. Trump by a federal grand jury into his alleged mishandling of “classified” documents after leaving the White House.

Flynn had remarked to Cernovich that Trump is the victim of “narrative assassination” as opposed to “physical assassination.” “@Cernovich it’s called the ‘narrative assassination,'” Flynn wrote. “Physical assassination is too messy these days (not out of the question—just too messy). Killing someone by creating a completely false narrative is cleaner, easier and has a lasting effect on others contemplating getting in the way of the Uniparty establishment elites. This is something I have a great deal of experience and expertise on.”

Flynn was Trump’s first national-security adviser but was forced to resign after just three weeks when reported evidence appeared to show he had not been honest with Vice President Mike Pence regarding his conversations with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition period.

Further, Flynn was prosecuted for allegedly lying to the FBI during an informal interview just days into the administration while unrepresented by counsel. Initially pleading “guilty,” he later moved to withdraw the plea and was awaiting Judge Emmet Sullivan’s final order when Trump issued an unconditional pardon on November 25, 2020.

Not originally part of the conversation and changing the subject, Fanning tweeted to Flynn, “#Narrative_Assassination Just like Yaacov Apelbaum running a dirty operation against me — hiring a PI to take pictures through our windows and then push the false narratives. Fortunately the PI, Yaakov Apelbaum hired, who had been military Intel, gave sworn affidavits to the courts with copies of the bills to Yaacov Apelbaum and his company XRVISION. @GenFlynn

“Yaacov Apelbaum” refers to a plaintiff in the case TGP Communications, et al v. Brannon Howse, et al filed early last year. Apelbaum, founder of intelligence company XRVision, claims defamation against Fanning and her co-writer, Alan Jones.

Other plaintiffs include The Gateway Pundit; its founder, Jim Hoft, and TGP contributor Joe Hoft. The action likely resulted from Fanning and Jones’s February 14, 2021 article, “Attacks on Dennis Montgomery, HAMMER And SCORECARD, ‘Absolute Proof,’ Have CIA Connections.”

Brannon Howse, a close associate of MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, was dropped from the case last year, while Jones appears to have evaded service.

The trial has been repeatedly postponed since October and at present is scheduled to begin on July 10.

The latest activity as of this writing shows two counts in Apelbaum’s First Amended Petition in an ancillary matter dismissed. As per Missouri’s policy, individual case documents are not available to the public.

Since March 2017, Fanning and Jones have heavily promoted former government subcontractor Dennis L. Montgomery as a “whistleblower. ” Over many years, Montgomery has made numerous claims about his knowledge and possession of evidence pointing to massive government surveillance, current events, and his construction for the government of a supercomputer, “The Hammer,” and a software program, “Scorecard,” allegedly used to commandeer the 2020 election away from Trump to Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

Earlier unchallenged documentation of Montgomery’s claims labels him “The Man Who Conned the Pentagon” as a result of an order the then-George W. Bush administration gave to stop incoming flights to the U.S. stemming from Montgomery’s report of an impending terrorist attack in New York City which did not materialize.

It was Howse who introduced Fanning to Lindell, who in turn introduced Montgomery to Lindell. From there, Lindell seized upon Montgomery’s claims as fact, presenting them to the Trump White House in its waning days and promising but ultimately failing to release the evidence Montgomery allegedly provided at a “Cyber Symposium” in August 2021.

Lindell is seeking to use Montgomery’s “data” in his defense against a lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems, Inc. and possibly others. In August 2022, Lindell petitioned a Nevada federal court to release Montgomery from a government protective order which both Lindell and Montgomery claim prevents the full disclosure of the evidence Montgomery claims to possess regarding the 2020 election.

The latest docket entry in the case is June 6, 2023 wherein the government was granted a one-week extension of time to respond to an “Objection to Report and Recommendation” filed by Montgomery.

On his personal blog in February 2021, Apelbaum indicated he found Fanning and Jones’s reporting on the 2020 election faulty based on its reliance on Montgomery’s claims, citing two of their recent articles in which they presented “data” Apelbaum analyzed. Specifically to Montgomery’s claim to have captured evidence of election-tampering on the part of China on November 3, 2020, Apelbaum wrote, in part:

It’s not entirely clear who paid Montgomery to create/promote this fabrication. Motivation wise, it could be just another money-making venture, but, it’s more likely that this is a well-organized and funded Romney/Bush active measures that is designed to kill any discussion about real election fraud.

As for his chief promoter Mary Fanning and Alan Jones, conducting a cursory evaluation of their body of work shows no verified intelligence and a large amount of high grade/high volume disinformation operations. Here is one example (and don’t worry, you don’t need top secret US government clearance and years of intelligence training to view/understand it).

In a January 14, 2021 tweet entitled:  “PRO RUSSIAN LDNR OPERATIVE WITH ANTIFA AT THE CAPITAL BUILDING”, Fanning positively identified an Antifa and a Russian operator at the Capital riots. This post illustrates her MO. A continues spray of tiny bits of truth in a sea of deception, also known as the firehose of falsehoods.

Fanning is now “Executive Producer” of the America Out Loud show, “The National Security Hour,” although neither she nor Jones has a background in “national security,” a point noted in the Dominion lawsuit, with whom Fanning and Jones were closely associated at the time.

On Sunday, an episode of the show was posted titled, “Assassination By Narrative, The Prosecution, The Persecution & the Real Crimes.” Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney (Ret), who has appeared on numerous other shows with Fanning and Jones, including Howse’s “Worldview Weekend Broadcast Network” and made unproved assertions, co-hosts the program.

Fanning and Jones were “executive producer” and “producer,” respectively, of Lindell’s nine-part video series, “Absolute Proof,” during which Fanning presented Montgomery’s “data” allegedly captured as the election unfolded showing a Chinese “cyberwarfare attack” which purportedly switched millions of votes from Trump to Joe Biden.

As The Post & Email has reported, prior to their claim of China’s interference, Fanning and Jones asserted that “The Hammer” and “Scorecard” were deployed against the election by unnamed bad actors to produce the Biden “win.” Then, on January 3, 2021, their narrative changed to focus on China and several other countries as the perpetrators of the deed.

In January, The Post & Email observed that a Twitter account identified as “The Errant Friend,” or “E,” posted a photo he or she said was that of Fanning, who has always appeared on video broadcasts by audio connection only. At the time, Fanning claimed to us that she owned the copyright to the photo but did not confirm it to be of her.

In the fall of 2013, Montgomery approached the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) with what he claimed was evidence of government malfeasance directed against more than 150,000 county residents. As a result, then-Sheriff Joseph Arpaio hired Montgomery as a confidential informant at a salary of $10,000 a month to produce the evidence he claimed to have.

As The Post & Email has reported, former police investigator and Obama birth-certificate lead investigator Mike Zullo was appointed to supervise the undertaking, which lasted approximately a year. After several months, Zullo has told us, he began to doubt the veracity of Montgomery’s claim and sought independent technical analysis of approximately four dozen hard drives of data Montgomery had provided to the Sheriff’s Office.

That analysis, taking place in November 2014, concluded unequivocally that none of the data on the hard drives was of government origin. Further, former NSA officials J. Kirk Wiebe and Thomas Drake wrote in a report to Arpaio, it was evidence of a “fraudulent con” perpetrated by Montgomery carried out for the purpose of “personal gain and cover.”

Without presenting any evidence, Fanning and Jones wrote in their 2020 book, “The Hammer is the Key to the Coup” that Zullo did not present Montgomery’s full background to the former NSA analysts, thereby allegedly coloring the outcome of their analysis, and that he altered the data on the drives prior to providing them to Wiebe, Drake and a third analyst, Bill Binney.

As we reported, page 10 of the Fanning/Jones book, which we have read, quotes Wiebe describing Zullo, without evidence, as a “’self-declared police detective’ and ‘a messenger sent by the Deep State to deceive us.’”

While Wiebe has not responded to Zullo’s and this writer’s requests for comment on that issue, Binney, who did not sign the report, has communicated with Zullo about it to Zullo’s satisfaction.

In the intervening time since signing the report, Wiebe’s stance on Montgomery shifted to that of an ardent supporter. Following the 2020 election, Wiebe asserted to this writer that Montgomery possessed the evidence he claimed to have as to the outcome but was “awaiting government authorization” to release it.

In Lindell’s filing in the Nevada case, the Justice Department has since given Montgomery leave to release the information in question because, they claim, it is unrelated to the 2020 election.

Contacting Zullo for comment, he told us:

The private investigator did a phenomenal job; Mary Fanning has been completely elusive in background and appearance, and in order to serve her, she was going to have to be located. This isn’t anything deceitful; this is standard operating procedure with someone who is trying to dodge service. That’s her face; she’s now owned up to it; she’s been sued, and I believe rightfully so. I have been a victim of her poison pen.

I believe this to be a complete operation. If you go back in time and reconstruct the chain of events forensically, you’re going to find out that Mary Fanning is responsible for the introduction of Dennis Montgomery and fabricated information to Mike Lindell, which has cost him dearly. And Brannon Howse runs around telling people I work for the CIA because that’s what Mary Fanning has told him, and people just promote this.

We contacted Fanning for comment for this article as well as Apelbaum and his attorney; none responded by press time.

Thank you for the update. The hearing has been delayed for close to a year.
