Arpaio Connects Unnamed “Dem. President” to “FAKE Government Documents”

(Nov. 7, 2025) — On Thursday evening, former Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joseph Arpaio wrote on X that despite the considerable number of deportations and arrests of illegal aliens, particularly those having committed violent crimes, an “epidemic” persists in which illegals are “using FAKE government documents and STOLEN social security numbers!”

“We should be arresting all these violators of the law like I did for 24 years as Sheriff!” Arpaio added. “Why not? Is it because a certain Dem. president would be arrested if we did?”

As The Post & Email has reported, Arpaio launched a criminal investigation into an image purported to represent the “long-form” birth certificate of Barack Hussein Obama II allegedly obtained from the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) in April 2011 and uploaded to the White House website to ostensibly prove Obama was born in the United States.

It was the current president, Donald J. Trump, who in late 2010 began a constant drumbeat of questions regarding Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve in the nation’s highest office following public reporting that he was born in Indonesia, Kenya or another foreign country.

A 2008 article from The Washington Post uniquely claims Obama “grew up in the Kansas heartland.”

Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution requires that the president be a “natural born Citizen.” The Framers, however, did not define the term, and various scholars and analyses have led to differing interpretations.

Some believe “natural born Citizen” signifies a person born in the United States without respect to his or her parents’ citizenship or status, while others insist the term applies only to a subset of Americans born within the country to parents who were themselves citizens at the time of the birth.

Though the probe did not focus on Obama’s birthplace, Arpaio has on many occasions claimed Obama ascended to the White House via document fraud and forgery. In July, he began commenting on the investigation frequently, referring to Obama as “illegitimate.”

Former detective and former private investigator Mike Zullo served as Arpaio’s lead investigator and, along with a team of attorneys and former law-enforcement officers, determined early on that the birth-certificate image is a “computer-generated forgery.”

Zullo would later report that the forgery was manufactured from at least one genuine Hawaii birth certificate and posted “with the intent to deceive.”

Obama’s origins outside the country, Zullo claimed, are “an open secret” in the nation’s capital.

As The Post & Email discovered conclusively in August through a FOIA request, the FBI has not probed the Obama birth-certificate image.
