(Nov. 2, 2024) — “Star Spangled Banner” (1:27)

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Professor Zorkophsky requested this airtime to say a few words about the outcome of this election. Zork, as he prefers to be called, said he’ll be speaking for not only the living but for those who have gone before us who fought for the cause of freedom. Zork’s credentials are that he went to a war and paid a high price, ending up a little bit nuts but finally getting back to earth or, in military parlance, ‘The World,’ only to destroy his Wonderful Life‘ by alcohol and drugs. Zork quit the drugs and subsequently obtained a medical degree to practice psychiatry and has been straight and sober going on 30 years. The floor, as they say, is yours.”

“Thank you, Roving, for the comprehensive introduction. I’ll make it short and sweet: this election will determine whether the sacrifices, not only mine, but for all Veterans who fought for the cause of freedom, will have been in vain.

“What I’m saying is we who took the Oath to the Constitution do not bow to any ‘New World Order’ or United Nations poppycock. And we surely didn’t open our hearts and minds to Islam’s philosophy of ‘Kill the Christians and Jews wherever Ye may find them.’

“We understand that half the population of our country has been brainwashed into believing that Socialism has ever been a success anywhere at any time, while we know that to be a lie.

“We believe that the Founding Fathers gave us the responsibility to be armed to stifle an out-of-control rogue state that leans towards Totalitarianism and slavery.

“We believe that our Oath to the Constitution has no expiration date and, therefore, our enlistment never ended, just put aside for times such as this.

“If Trump is to be our next president, I feel that my service to my country will have been validated. If Trump does not take the Oath to defend the Constitution on January 20, 2025, then all others’ and my own sacrifice to serve and protect the Constitution will have been in vain.

“All we have in this life is time. You can’t buy time, but you can waste time. For those who have come home from war injured, either physically or mentally, it would be an awfully high price to pay for nothing.

“I tell you, I lost a wife due to my PTSD, hate to lose my country, too. Thank you for listening.”

‘And thank you, Zork, for being so forthright. And that’ll do it for this episode of ‘Pulse,’ the most-watched information show in its time slot. This is your Roving Reporter, along with our featured guest, Professor Zorkophsky, wishing you a goodnight: Goodnight.

“That was quite a speech, from the heart. Burger time: my treat.”

Justice for All” (2:24)

For you and I Roving and all the others who served in America’s Military, my vote has been cast for Donald J. Trump, and I also do not want to lose our country………….
