“Incompetence is the goal of government. Any employee mistakenly hired who demonstrates competence is terminated. Little-minded chieftains protecting their turf is the way of petty autocrats who issue edicts without interference, compromise or disagreement. Think of a petty boss in charge of, as an example, an airport maintenance division or perhaps retired military overseeing airport security. Maybe think of a person such as Chuck Schumer or Mitch McConnell, and then comes along someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene; see what I mean? Don’t make waves; don’t rock the boat. Allow me to be crass: Joe Biden is sinking the Ship of State.
“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. It is the unwritten rule that departments must expand to survive. Heaven forbids requesting a smaller budget and a hiring freeze. Barry Soetoro, aka Obama, padded employment statistics by filling needless government slots. Our featured guest, Professor Zorkophsky, the well-known author of psychiatric books geared towards the armchair shrink, will explain it all to us. Welcome aboard, Professor.”
“Thank you, Roving, for such a comprehensive introduction. Always enjoy being on your most popular show and especially look forward to the delicious burgers afterwards. I used to enjoy going to bars and celebrate by drinking alcohol but now I enjoy celebrating by not drinking, if you know what I mean.”
“From one who used to drink, smoke and do drugs, I know exactly what you mean. I’m going on 30 years clean and sober; what about you?”
“Twenty-two years without a drink, I’m proud to say. Same with cigarettes; drugs even more. Wish I never did any of it, although I do remember a few Drambuie binges with a beautiful young lady when I was a young man, memories that are especially dear to me.”
“Really? Why’s that?”
“Because I married her, that’s why. Best thing I ever did but, thanks to my PTSD, I burnt my bridges and divorced her, which was the dumbest thing I ever did.”
“So, you had the best and the worst; how’s that make you feel?”

“You’re the shrink; you tell me.”
“Will do. You feel like the heel you are, but hey, get over it. Like this ‘War in Gaza’ lie. There’s no ‘war’ in Gaza, but there is payback; there is retribution, and there is justice for October 7.”
“You’re the shrink. What about the financiers of Oct. 7?”
“Simple: wherever they hide. Let’s get real, down to brass tacks: you can’t have insanity running amuck without consequences. We can’t have this hate that leads to murder on a daily basis. We cannot allow people to go around and do what they do without putting a stop to it. In other words, they had their immature baby tantrum – 1,400-year killing spree – and now it is over. Stop the hate for the Jews, Christians, Hindus and everyone else or we’ll do to you exactly what you have done to us.”
“I must say you don’t mince words.”
“If Joe Scarborough believed that the 2020 election was fair then he wouldn’t be so adamant against election deniers, would he?”
“What do you mean?”
“If your wife accused you of having an affair with anyone, and you’re not, what would you care about any allegations against you? You wouldn’t; you wouldn’t even consider such nonsense to take the time nor make the effort to rebuke.”
“So, Joe and Mika badmouthing election deniers: if the election was honest, they wouldn’t even mention them, would they? Which proves that they know the 2020 election was fraudulent.”
“That’s quite true, isn’t it? They act just like little kids when they’re caught with their hand in the cookie jar.”
“Are they really as dumb as they act?”
“I’m afraid they are as dumb as the hostesses of The View and as dumb as the audience of CNN, MSNBC and all the other MSM.”
“Any cure?”
“None known.”
“What happens if there’s a civil war?”
“After the judges are judged, then the MSM idiots are next in line. I want to mention the police being a part of the problem when they set the market price of illegal drugs. They should only mention the amount of confiscated smuggled goods and not set the overinflated price, which they themselves set, either inadvertently or by design; same result.”
“That’s true, isn’t it? Part of the cause of inflation.”
“And part of the increase in theft. Nothing, but nothing, good comes out of the police setting the price of black-market items, be it Fentanyl or a jar of peanut butter. You can investigate the police from Russia to Mexico and you’ll reach the same conclusion: law enforcement is nothing but the flip side of the coin called ‘The Steal.’ A just society doesn’t need cops. Okay, let’s say 10% of law enforcement is honest.”
“If that. Okay, that’s it for now; no sense in belaboring the point. Goodnight, all.
“Good show, but depressing. Burger time: my treat.”
[Note: You Veterans out there, if you suffer from PTSD, stay away from the VA. Find yourself some companions that went through a similar ordeal and become friends; it’ll help more than the government ever could. You don’t have to talk about it; just adjust to a normal behavior. When I lost my support group, I left my wife, a mistake that I’ll take to my grave, I’m ashamed to say.
I had 17 years of nightmares, of mentally and physically dreading going to sleep every night, fearing the worst: the nightmares and then waking, scared out of my wits, shaking and sometimes crying from feeling so helpless, the smell of burning flesh while the orange-filled black cloud from napalm creeping ever closer, and no weapon. Feel the heat and no place to run to. How’s that for a wake-up call?]
