(May 20, 2022) — In the jargon of thermonuclear physics, the term “critical mass” means that point at which a specific volume of fissile material – such as uranium-235 or Plutonium – will sustain a nuclear chain reaction. Once the chain reaction begins and races ahead uncontrolled, a hyper-violent nuclear explosion will occur. In short, that is how atomic bombs work.
Against that ominous backdrop, an argument can now be made that because of the corruption, depredations and clinically lunatic policies of the Goofball Regime and its apparatchiks – now headed by unquestionably and without peer the worst president in the history of the Republic, also nicknamed “Brandon” – we are on a dangerous path…, one which could have a catastrophic end.
However, the “critical” question to be asked is not where and how far down the road one is standing while traveling to critical mass. Instead, the question becomes: in which direction on that perilous journey is one facing?
Unless the Republic is facing away from the nuclear fireball awaiting it under a continuing Goofball regime and back toward a pre-Goofball era, the promise of the Second Usurper-in-Chief (”SUC”), Barack Hussein Obama, Jr., of “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” will be closer to reality than ever before.

Just as “Little Boy” and “Fat Man” fundamentally transformed, respectively, the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, bringing to an end World War II, so too are the policies of the addled Goof at 1600 close to completing the SUC’s unfinished task of fundamentally transforming the Republic.
Stated otherwise, what was once the “shining city upon a hill” memorialized by President Reagan in his farewell speech is on a path to becoming the 21st Century’s Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but on a nationwide rather than city-wide scale. For a preview of coming attractions, just take a look at Democrat-governed cities across the nation today.
Recall as well that the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki – killing as many as 206,000 Japanese civilians, in addition to some 20,000 military personnel, or over ten times as many civilians as soldiers – was ordered by President Harry S. Truman…, a Democrat. Granted, the bombings ended World War II…, but a Democrat sanctioned, presided over and ratified the killing of over 200,000 civilians. Men. Women. Children. Babies.
The sad fact is that, even today, with the Goof’s lowest approval ratings thus far for his first term in office hovering around 39%, many Democrats still approve of his performance.
Stated otherwise, a fair number of Democrats agree with the Goofball’s handling of myriad crises. They approve of, for example, the de facto and lawless eradication of the nation’s southern border and incentivizing of the tsunami of illegal aliens into the country; they welcome gasoline prices of $7.00/gal.; they revel in an inflation rate approaching 9% annually, with an unavoidable recession just over the horizon; they are giddy over the suppression of truth regarding the laptop of the Goof’s ne’er-do-well but flush with Chinese cash son; they scoff at criticism of the Goof’s deadly and calamitous Afghanistan debacle; and the list goes on…, and on…, and on.
The Goof’s 39% approval rating should be closer to 0%. But to those who place political party over patriotism and the preservation of that “shining city,” – i.e., most registered Democrats and virtually all Democrat politicians – remain blissfully content marching toward the fireball rather than away from it.
Against that 39% approval rating, an argument can now be plausibly made that Democrats are, as far as national interests are concerned, simply evil. Indeed, that argument has recently been posited here. By failing to put the interests of the nation ahead of the political depredations of the Goofball Regime, they are not only facilitating and enabling the Goof, as noted here, they are his accomplices…, and they must be held accountable.

Accountability comes in many different forms, but arguably the most effective one – discussed here, here, and here – is seemingly “a bridge too far” for those who could make a difference, and do so before the November mid-term elections. That is too bad, because with each passing day, we keep trudging down that path toward critical mass.
Accordingly, those who think that it is better to walk away from a nuclear fireball instead of embracing it at the end of the trail should vote carefully in November. Very carefully. And not for Democrats.
And keep your fingers crossed that the – let us be polite here: “anomalies” of the 2020 general election – do not recur. If they do, prepare to be incinerated by the fireball.

Dear Joseph,
Good editorial, a real ‘scorched earth’ one, something that many Dems will embrace as, well, maybe not “better dead than red”, but more like “better destroy the United States than letting someone in the White House that is for the Constitution and against kickbacks from China”, i.e., Trump.
When I was in the Navy I wore many hats, one of which was to test the firing electronics of a nuclear warhead and I can tell you and the world that we do not want even one nuke to explode anywhere at any time, and to even contemplate a nuclear exchange is a cause for an insanity verdict to be put away in a padded room for life.
And you’re correct in saying that Biden is off his rocker or, as I have stated many times, he is certifiable “nuts” and needs to be put in a home where he can’t do himself and the world any more harm than he already has.
The current chain of command is unacceptable because Harris and Pelosi are just as unhinged as Biden, for goodness’ sake. We find ourselves in dire straits, indeed. Give me a company of Marines and any US NAVY destroyer with a 5” mount and I’ll fix the Beltway within a day.
