The $450K Gambit and Brandon Mendoza

(Oct. 30, 2021) — The latest slug of malevolent insanity oozing from the Goofball Regime is beyond outrageous.  It only confirms that the regime is dedicated to rewarding criminal behavior at the expense of American citizens. 

The newest lunacy comes in the form of a proposal to reward certain illegal aliens – i.e., persons who have entered the United States illegally and, if done after being once deported, feloniously – with monetary “reparation” payments of up to $450,000.00 per person.  Unless those monies will come from George Soros or the Goofball’s personal “10% for the Big Guy” stash, the assumption is that they will come from some account filled with taxpayer dollars.

The purported basis for this outrage is to “settle” (or avoid) various lawsuits brought by lawyers for the illegals alleging that families separated after their illegal entry suffered “lasting psychological trauma” and permanent “scars of separation” under President Trump’s “zero tolerance” illegal immigration policy. 

Tell that to taxpayer Mary Ann Mendoza, the mother of now deceased Mesa, Arizona police officer Sergeant Brandon Mendoza. 

In the early morning hours of May 12, 2014, Sergeant Mendoza was on his way home after completing his shift when he was hit head-on and killed on a one-lane freeway access ramp by a wrong-way, speeding, drunken and methamphetamine-amped illegal alien, one Raul Silva Corona. Corona was also killed.

Corona was here illegally; had been convicted of burglary and assaulting a Colorado police officer; was thereafter charged with conspiracy, but skipped bail and lived “off the grid” as a landscape laborer for 20 years; was apprehended in 2012 by Border Patrol agents, but given probation, released and not deported; did not have a driver’s license or his own social security number; was three-times over the DUI limit for drunk drivers; was on meth; and when he hit Officer Mendoza’s vehicle may have been going over 90 MPH westbound on the eastbound freeway ramp.  All of this was “illegal” and anything other than “undocumented.”

Naturally, the local Phoenix ABC affiliate reported nothing – as in “zero” – regarding Corona’s status as an “illegal alien” or even an “undocumented immigrant,” much less that which the federal code would describe him as being: a “felon.”

Following the tragedy, Sergeant Mendoza’s mother wrote a heart-wrenching letter (read it here to the Second Usurper in Chief (“SUC”), Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. relating her story.  Getting little aid from the SUC, she thereafter worked with President Trump to establish in 2017 the “Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement” office (“VOICE”) within the Department of Homeland Security.  The office existed to address the issue of crimes and tragedies such as hers committed by illegal aliens. 

Naturally, seeing that the Trump VOICE office might dissuade illegal aliens from accepting the Goofball’s invitation to the world at large to violate federal immigration laws and continue their unimpeded march over the border, he abolished the VOICE office on June 11, 2021, replacing it with the “Victims Engagement and Services Line.” 

The “VESL” program touted that it would “combine longstanding existing services, such as methods for people to report abuse and mistreatment in immigration detention centers and a notification system for lawyers and others with a vested interest in immigration cases.” 

So in effect, instead of providing protection and redress for victims of crimes against Americans committed by criminal illegal aliens as did the VOICE program, the VESL program is designed to make it easier for illegal aliens to receive protection from and redress for purported “mistreatment” by those charged with enforcing the nation’s immigration laws. 

The Goofball’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary, Alejandro (“c’mon in, amigo”) Mayorkas noted as to the VESL program: “Providing assistance to society’s most vulnerable is a core American value. All people, regardless of their immigration status, should be able to access victim services without fear.”

Seriously?

This is what happens… every… single… time… when radical Democrats and idiots like the Goof are allowed within two parsecs of governmental power or influence.  Everything in sight turns to the stuff that gets emptied from porta-potties following an outdoor rock concert…, or which can be found on the streets of San Crapcisco. 

It is also why – for the umpteenth time – your humble servant posits that (a) the immediate, or as soon an humanly possible, impeachment of the Goof has become a national imperative, and (b) five patriotic House Democrats should consider switching their party allegiance to either Independent or GOP to ensure that there is no possibility that Nancy Pelosi could ever become president should Kamala Harris be also disqualified as constitutionally ineligible, as discussed here.

So, whenever you see a “Let’s Go Brandon” bumper sticker, remember what the SUC had to say about the Goof’s ability to “foul” things up.  Then after giving the “Let’s Go Brandon” driver a solid “thumbs up,” remember the “other” guy named Brandon: Sergeant Brandon Mendoza.  He was killed by an illegal alien, the same category of folks the Goofball is incentivizing to come to this country, where he wants to normalize the rule that crime does, in fact, pay. 

The only thing adding insult to injury would be a revelation that not only will the “scarred” illegal aliens be placed on a fast-track to citizenship and given a new Prius (color of their choice…), but that their $450K awards will be exempted from federal income taxation. Don’t scoff: this is the mindset of the “America Last” Goofball and his marionette-masters.  Shut your mouths, you deplorable Walmart scum, mask up, get the jab and ignore that man behind the curtain.

Finally, as for the attorneys representing the illegal aliens “permanently scarred” by the horrific “separation angst” they purportedly suffered, as well as those operating under the Goof’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, and buying into this $450,000.00 per person “reparations” gambit, one is tempted to recall the joke: “Q: What is the difference between a catfish and a lawyer?  A: One is a slippery, slimy, bottom-feeder…, and the other is a fish.”
