“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. I’m sick and tired of ‘not going to take it anymore,’ as I’m sure you are. I’m not part of the mass insanity perpetuated by North Korean-like mindless devotion to the State, where any decree from a Prima Don or Donna can tell me what to think and how to behave. We Americans have the Constitution and the Bible and we don’t need one more ‘reform legislation’ rule, regulation or yet another ridiculous meaningless hot-winded pabulum spewing from Pelosi-like ‘missed-the-boat’ worthless politician or petty bureaucrat irrespective of title, subtitle or salutation from Mister or Miss to Honorable to Vice President and President, including once-revered scholars of the Constitution to now petty political hacks who get a free ride to work and back. Better for all of us if they would all join Joe in the basement and keep their opinions to themselves, and in case any of you missed it, I’m including, especially including, the Joint Chiefs of Worthless Staff. Has everyone gone completely nuts or are we the last of the reasonable truth explorers left on this spaceship that we call Earth? Well, now, to find out, we just happen to have Professor Wert here to guide us down the right path of correct thinking, or did I get it wrong?”
“Talk about me being ‘out there’; that was quite a salutation. My philosophy is that if you stay within the bounds of the Golden Rule you’ll be within the ballpark, no matter what you do in life.”
“There are some authors and screenwriters who seem to have missed the boat.”
“Money is a great incentive and money from whatever source is still money.”
“From China?”
“We have to make exceptions.”
“So maybe not money from China?”
“Of course not. Look, we’re getting off-track.”
“I didn’t know we had a track.”
“No, we do.”
“We do what?”
“On track. Listen, you can’t have it both ways. It’s like a cheating wife: you can’t have a boyfriend and a husband because, if you do, the husband will pack it up and leave in the middle of the night*, and you can’t blame him. No husband or, for that matter, man, would put up with such shenanigans; now ain’t that the truth?”
“It certainly is. But the wife seldom thinks of 20-40 years down the road, does she?”
“Not all, and that’s a fact.”
“Well, we all can’t be fortune-tellers.”
“No, I suppose not. But if we don’t get Biden-Harris O-U-T, goodbye, America.”
“Goodbye, ‘the Beacon of Freedom.’”
“Which is why there’s an increase in Veterans ‘eating-the-bullet’ every day.”
“I can understand that: they take the Oath to the Constitution and yet see Biden and the judges trash the Constitution: I mean, open borders? Come on, man.”
“Veterans don’t leave notes; want to know why?”
“Sure, why don’t Veterans leave notes?”
“Because, as they say: don’t mean nothin’. Life; death and everything in between. You take the Oath to preserve and protect, and you see ain’t nobody preserving and protecting nothing, so what do you expect? A parade: a float with TB-infected illegal immigrants, another float with Middle Eastern ‘migrants’ filled with nothing but hate for where they’re coming to? I’m telling you, we’re the weak and the crazy to put up with the shenanigans of our politicians and, especially, our so-called judges who can’t tell the difference between a vagrant and a migrant, or between right and wrong. BLM and ANTIFA are wrong; a citizen protecting his family and property is right.”
“What, are you just going to walk away?”
“You want a footnote? I’ll give you one: if each and every person who participated in this fraud of an election doesn’t spend a lot of time behind bars, we will have given away the farm. Now I’m walking away. Now for all you illegals and other unwanteds: leave while the leaving is good.”
“And that’ll do it, and so we’ll be wishing you all a goodnight: Goodnight.
“Somber show; it happens. Burger time: my treat.”

I like this very much. I am a veteran disabled from a stroke and am very unhappy with the communist political hacks and their Pravda/Goebbels fake news propagandists but I am not going to kill myself out of frustration, that would just be helping them by taking a patriot out of the fight. True, I can’t help in a physical fight but can help in other ways. I pray and write blog articles to encourage and enlighten others.
Hey Bob, thanks for the positive and uplifting comment. We all have a story to tell and it is quite amazing how life turns out in unsuspecting ways. Those PBY pilots on just another boring patrol spotted the Japanese navy as they were heading for Midway and saved the day, and that plane had mechanics and quartermasters to order the parts that kept it in the air.
We all have a part to play; some of us stand up and are proud to be counted while others fade away into the shadows never to be seen or heard from again.
But some daemons are pretty powerful and those that have them need our compassion and, if not understanding, at least an open heart to not condemn those who feel that they are beyond help, which is where Jesus should enter the picture and, if not save the day, at least make it bearable for yet another day.
No one knows what lonely can be after holding a barrel of a gun in their mouth for a couple of hours, slowly squeezing only to give up to give our Lord another chance.
