(Apr. 21, 2021) — “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Today we’re at the auditorium of one of our great centers of learning, a world-famous Christian college that doesn’t indoctrinate their students in the belief that ‘no effort reaps rewards’ and that the word ‘free’ is nothing more than an empty promise. I’m standing on the stage in front of a packed house for this year’s ‘PTSD Symposium’ about to introduce our guest speaker, Professor Zorkophsky, but first I’d like to say a few words about him.

“Professor Zorkophsky is a retired university professor who taught ‘Abnormal Psychology’; the author of numerous best selling books; a screenwriter for such Hollywood blockbusters as The Dandelion War; a government consultant; a former doctor at the VA for which he was ‘asked to leave’ because he wasn’t a ‘pill-pusher’; and, as many of you are aware, a contributor to ‘Pulse,’ the most popular information show in its time slot. And so, without further ado, it is my great honor to introduce Professor Zorkophsky, a good friend of mine and to us all, Professor Zorkophsky.”

Applause

“Thank you for such a warm welcome, and thank you, Professor Wert, for such an informative introduction. I’m glad you didn’t list all of my bestselling books or you would still be talking. To say that we live in perilous times would be an understatement, ever since our president was cast aside by the Deep State, which means that the Joint Chiefs of Staff failed to uphold their Oath to defend our country from enemies within.

“Which brings us directly to the topic at hand: PTSD. Actually I may be going off on a tangent, but the suicide rate of our Veterans have gone up since Biden-Harris, both incompetent beyond compare, let alone belief, became the ‘Defenders of the Constitution,’ a real joke if there ever was one.

“As many of you may know, I myself have PTSD, and because I didn’t know how to ask for help, and because I didn’t subscribe to the pills that the VA dumped on me, I self-analyzed that if I drank myself into a coma every night I could avoid the nightmares. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Chemicals, no matter in what form, can only mask the symptoms, not cure them.

“Even when I was teaching, I kept a private practice treating war Veterans, which, by the way, are the only ones I treat, those who saw combat first-hand, often referred to as ‘battle fatigue,’ ‘thousand-yard stare,’ ‘nut cases,’ and ‘Oh, he’s one of those.’

“Let’s talk ‘Cold Turkey,’ okay? Let’s talk the ‘Here and Now,’ shall we? Let’s talk turning your back on your Oath and seeing other people doing the same with no repercussions. It’s like watching someone stealing candy from a baby and laughing about it IN YOUR FACE.

“So these Vets eat the bullet, is what happens, because they feel as if they went the full nine yards and got nothing for it, nothing except a life spinning out of control. And let me tell you something else: there’s a lot of Veterans out there who are 60 plus years old and know that they’re in the last third of life so, when you get right down to the nitty-gritty, what do they have to lose not picking up a gun and fighting for their country one last time, but this time it’s for real?

“’Nothing,’ is the answer; they have nothing left to lose. Ladies and gentlemen, we have an army, a standing army right here in our country. This army is made up of patriots, of Veterans and others who are not going to lie down and take this Biden-Harris, Deep-State trashing of our Constitution. Not going to happen: the Deep State is awakening the Sleeping Giant.’

“The other day I talked to Madam Shylock and asked her what she foresees, and she told me not to be surprised at a Donald Trump-Mike Lindell ticket in – her words – ‘the very near future.’ No Mike Pence? ‘No modern-day Judas Iscariot for America; turn him over to China’, was her replay.

“Which brings us to the point of, if you’re going to have a Cabinet, don’t hire Washington insiders. If you’re going to name a Secretary of Defense, name someone from the ranks, someone who, if they never slit the enemy’s throat with a knife, at least shot them where they could see them and not from 2,000 feet in the air going at 250 mph.

“My point is that we want people in charge of our troops who know how to fight, and none of this ‘Let’s play war, get some of our troops killed, but make sure the government contractors make a bundle, year after year, just like what we’re doing in Afghanistan.’ Sound familiar, sound like Vietnam all over again?

“And what do they teach at West Point and Annapolis? Be nice; don’t hurt anyone’s feelings? ‘Fire across the bow,’ and if that doesn’t work, ‘Fire another one across the bow’? I don’t think so. Let’s get back to old school: fire one across the bow and if they don’t comply, sink it.

“And that’s my speech, but I would like to make a mention of the George Floyd circus in Minnesota. George Floyd was a two-time loser —  no, that’s not right. Floyd pointed a gun at a pregnant woman, spent five years in the joint, and was, well, to make it short again, the opposite of an upstanding citizen. Heck, he was passing counterfeit money. Anyway, bad, mean stupid cop meets bad, mean stupid dude and we have riots and intimidation. In a parallel universe, the cop doesn’t kneel and a week later Floyd is either killed in a drug deal or by a store clerk who wasn’t going to take it anymore. What’s the point? The cop didn’t have to be there: Floyd would’ve done it to himself, all by himself; all he needed was a little more time.

“Thank you for having me as your guest speaker.”

“Thank you, Professor ‘Trash the masks’ Zorkophsky, and that’ll do it for this year’s PTSD Symposium; burgers will be served in the lobby. Goodnight.”

Standing ovation.

[*George Floyd: There are so many reasons for a mistrial that the whole charade looks like a sieve. Because the jury wasn’t sequestered, they knew that the family was paid off by the City of Minneapolis to the tune of 27 million (How about that? And their son was a bully), as if to say guilt was previously administered and approved by the Mayor and the City Council.]
