When “Collusion” Comes Full Circle

“NOBODY…WOULD EVEN TOUCH IT”

(Apr. 20, 2019) — At the 23:21 mark of his Friday night podcast, radio host Carl Gallups spoke with producer and guest Mike Shoesmith about The Post & Email’s April 17 article reporting on a revelation-packed edition of the FNC “Hannity” show.

On that evening, investigative journalist for The Hill John Solomon declared that the probe into the Trump campaign was launched “in the White House” in early January 2016, contrary to the FBI’s representation that its counterintelligence operation began on July 31 that year.

Our article connected the Trump-Russia “collusion” narrative, which Special Counsel Robert Mueller found to be unsubstantiated, with the mainstream media’s deep investment in maintaining that the “long-form” birth certificate image posted by the Obama White House on April 27, 2011 is authentic when a criminal investigation found it in 2012 to be fraudulent.

After quoting heavily from our column, Shoesmith segued into the “warehouse full of evidence” former Maricopa County Sheriff Joseph Arpaio says was gathered from the birth-certificate investigation, led by former detective Mike Zullo under Arpaio’s authority between 2011 and late 2016.

Zullo, in fact, has made many revelations gleaned from his investigation on Gallups’s show, “Freedom Friday,” which airs each week from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT.

It was Donald Trump who made the first public call for Obama to release his “long-form,” or more detailed, birth certificate to presumably prove himself eligible to serve as president as a “natural born Citizen” under Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the Constitution.

“It just seems to me that Obama and his team are still engaged in bogging down the president in pedafoggery so he won’t have the time to further the evidence that Joe Arpaio says he has a warehouse full of…”

Regarding our reference to media “collusion” to mask the birth certificate forgery, Gallups responded to Shoesmith, “I want to remind our listeners that Mike Zullo reported on that in an official capacity before anyone else ever in the world reported on that…Mike Zullo was involved in a bona fide criminal forensic investigation of the possibility of the Obama fraud concerning his presentation of fake documentation to occupy the seat of commander-in-chief and President of the United States.  Neither Mike Zullo nor Sheriff Arpaio have ever publicly speculated on exactly where Obama was born; only in, ‘Was that documentation he presented – the only documentation that the world has ever seen – was it genuine?'”

Gallups expounded on the two forensic examiners, divulged by Zullo during a third and final presser on December 15, 2016, whose independent conclusions about the birth certificate paralleled Zullo’s own.  The media provided virtually no coverage on the revelation, choosing instead to express its relief that the probe would conclude amid Arpaio’s departure from office after losing a bid for a seventh term.

Gallups said that Arpaio and Zullo’s evidence includes “whistleblower information,” “sworn affidavits that are now under lock and seal and key,” and “the warehouse of digital, documented paper-trail evidence” (33:45).

“Nobody, for eight years of Obama, of course, would even touch it, and of course we know why now,” Gallups said. “And ever since then, no one would touch it. But I’m going to defend this current administration; until now, until the Mueller report release, nobody really could touch it, because Comey was the director.”

Gallups said that the Justice Department was “full of deep-state operatives” and that the Mueller probe was “designed to water down Trump’s power.”  “And I’m convinced, and Sheriff Arpaio is convinced, and Mike Zullo is convinced, and I’m sure many of our listeners are, that the watering-down process was mainly aimed at not allowing Trump to open up this birth certificate investigation before the DOJ or Congress, because that is the foundational crime committed against the United States; the largest, the biggest, the most horrendous crime committed, and we’re sitting on top of a mountain of a five-year criminal forensic investigation by the fourth-largest sheriff’s office in the nation, and so far nobody will report on the details of it.”

Gallups then stressed that Zullo had said over the course of his investigation that there was “a huge collusion” between the mainstream media and the Obama White House and that Zullo indicated that Obama’s CIA Director, John Brennan, was heavily-involved in the birth certificate matter.

Brennan has been one of Trump’s fiercest critics, accusing him of “treason” and having erroneously predicted on MSNBC, where he is now a commentator, two weeks before Mueller turned in his report that additional indictments would be forthcoming.

It was a contract employee from Brennan’s private company who in 2008 reportedly inspected Obama’s State Department passport file along with those of Hillary Clinton and John McCain.  A January 12, 2009 Newsmax article states:

Sources who tracked the investigation tell Newsmax that the main target of the breach was the Obama passport file, and that the contractor accessed the file in order to “cauterize” the records of potentially embarrassing information.

“They looked at the McCain and Clinton files as well to create confusion,” one knowledgeable source told Newsmax. “But this was basically an attempt to cauterize the Obama file.”

At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid adviser to the Obama campaign.
