Carl Gallups Describes Two-Hour, “Closed-Door” Meeting with Arpaio on Obama Document Forgery Investigation

Arpaio “behind closed doors” with Maricopa County Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo “talking about the Obama birth certificate fraud case.”

Gallups said that his trip was riddled with multiple airport gate changes and bad weather.

In an exclusive release, Gallups described that following the two-hour meeting, Arpaio sworn him in as a “special deputy,” which enables Arpaio to share a higher level of information with Gallups concerning the Cold Case Posse’s criminal investigation into the long-form birth certificate and Selective Service registration form bearing the name of “Barack Hussein Obama,” the sitting occupant of the Oval Office.

Gallups explained that Arpaio conducted a background investigation on him and that he considers the designation of special deputy “an honor.”  Gallups is a former Florida deputy sheriff and is now pastor of the Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Milton, FL.

The investigation into Obama’s documents was launched at Arpaio’s request in September 2011 after the long-form birth certificate image, posted by the White House in April of that year, was declared a forgery by a number of graphics professionals.  A group of approximately 250 of Arpaio’s constituents approached him several months later concerned that their votes would be disenfranchised in the 2012 presidential election if, in fact, the claims of forgery proved accurate.

Questions about Obama’s background, birthplace and life narrative have persisted since 2007 amid reports of an alleged birthplace in Indonesia, Kenya, or Hawaii.

On March 1, 2012, posse lead investigator Mike Zullo and Arpaio announced at the first of two press conferences that both the birth certificate image and the Selective Service registration form are “computer-generated forgeries.”

Gallups said that the ongoing investigation “involves the White House” and is still highly confidential.  He reminded his audience that Zullo’s testimony in November at a civil contempt trial naming Arpaio as a defendant revealed some of the findings of the investigation and the work of a confidential informant, Dennis Montgomery.  “A lot of people were shocked” after hearing those revelations, Gallups said.

Montgomery received immunity from the FBI last August.

As Arpaio stated in his interview with Gallups, Gallups said that Arpaio’s office is now working with a “highly-reputable, international forensics analysis laboratory” which has “already filed some reports with the sheriff’s office” and “reached some conclusions.”  He explained that the laboratory is not yet finished with its work.

Gallups said that after the laboratory produces more reports, the evidence “will be turned over to federal authorities.”  He suggested that a third press conference might be held in addition to the two which took place in 2012.  A third press conference was originally planned for March 2014 but postponed indefinitely based on Montgomery’s contact with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to reveal evidence he said was in his possession.

Gallups also revealed that a “very reliable” source has recently provided to Zullo a “credible death threat on him and his family.”
