(Nov. 21, 2014) — On Friday afternoon, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) tweeted, “Why’s Pres. Obama making it easier for immigrants to come to America illegally instead of legally? #StopObamasAmnesty” in apparent response to Obama’s speech on Thursday evening in which he stated that he will change immigration law such that up to 5,000,000 illegals could remain in the country for three years without the fear of deportation.
Obama made the announcement just as members of Congress were leaving Washington for Thanksgiving break.
In an editorial on Wednesday, Cruz wrote that Obama would be overreaching his executive authority by issuing “executive amnesty” to illegal aliens without Congress having passed a bill. Article I, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution delegates lawmaking authority only to Congress.
The Post & Email responded to Cruz’s op-ed with one of its own which was mailed to Cruz’s Washington, DC office on Thursday.
Prior to Obama’s announcement “legalizing” certain classes of illegal aliens, Fox News reported that Republicans would “do whatever it takes” to stop Obama’s plans from going forward after issuing a “warning” on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday Obama claimed that his new orders stem from his ability to exercise “prosecutorial discretion” in deciding who should remain in the country and who should be deported. A lawsuit filed on November 6 by a career Immigration and Customs Enforcement attorney alleges that individuals who resisted the Obama regime’s new “prosecutorial discretion” policy were harassed, threatened, and had epithets hurled at them by Obama’s sycophants within the agency.
In reply to Cruz’s tweet, The Post & Email wrote, “In 2008, Bill Richardson said Obama was one! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9CyYnBA_CY …“, which linked to a video in which the former New Mexico governor referred to then-presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama as “an immigrant.”
Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution mandates that the president and commander-in-chief of the military “none other than a natural born Citizen.” For the offices of U.S. representative and Senate, the stipulation was simply “citizen” in addition to residency and age requirements.
It has been widely understood throughout U.S. history that a foreign-born individual, such as former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, cannot serve as president. However, constitutional scholars have noted many examples in case law and historical writings that the term “natural born Citizen” also referred to the citizenship of the parents. In 1916, attorney, Ambassador to Italy and Woodrow Wilson supporter Breckinridge Long contended that Charles Evans Hughes was not qualified to run against Wilson because he was born in the U.S. to non-U.S.-citizen parents.
Others have hinted that Obama may not be a citizen of the United States and is therefore ineligible to serve as president, making him a usurper if accurate. In an interview with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Pete Santilli of the Guerilla Media Network told Arpaio that he had spoken to a representative of a major media company who had admitted that the network “had made a mistake,” presumably in failing to vet Obama, and indicated that he or she was aware that everything Obama has signed and done would be undone if the truth were known.
Arpaio stressed that his criminal investigation has focused on Obama’s fraudulent birth certificate, which has been posted on the White House website since April 27, 2011 and declared a “computer-generated forgery” by the Cold Case Posse affiliated with his office.
Businessman and real estate magnate Donald Trump has stated publicly that he believes Obama received foreign aid to attend college and that in order to do so, Obama either posed as a foreign national when he completed his applications or actually was a foreign national. Trump has recently said that Obama is using the alias of “Barack Hussein Obama” and that his original name, allegedly discarded at an unknown time, is “Barry Soetoro.”
Arpaio’s attorney, Larry Klayman, who filed a lawsuit against Obama’s immigration edict last evening after it was announced, has asked immigration officials to hold an evidentiary hearing on Obama’s status and, if he is found to be an illegal alien, deport him to his country of origin.
The lead investigator of the Cold Case Posse, Mike Zullo, has stated that Obama is the only president “with aliases,” of which he said Obama has four.
The Post & Email submitted a FOIA request to the FBI for all documents referring to “Barry Soetoro” which was acknowledged by David P. Sobonya on November 12. By law, federal government agencies have 20 working days to respond.
In Articles of Impeachment written over the summer by the North American Law Center (NALC), Obama is accused of committing “criminal identity fraud.”
Since 2004, several African newspapers, citing the AP, have reported Obama as “Kenyan-born,” while at least one Indonesian publication stated the same.
When he first ran for president in 2008, Obama promised to “fundamentally transform the United States of America.” Many believe he now has.
