PUBLIC INDIVIDUALS SPEAK OUT ABOUT OBAMA’S PERCEIVED LACK OF “MENTAL STABILITY”
by Sharon Rondeau
(Jun. 8, 2014) — Last Tuesday, Fox News Business psychology consultant, published author and television show host Dr. Gina Loudon told Lou Dobbs that Barack Obama is exhibiting behavior that “seems irrational…beyond that of just a typical narcissistic, arrogant…leader of a big country…”
Loudon spoke to Dobbs in the wake of the recovery of a soldier accused of desertion in exchange for the freedom of five high-level Taliban commanders from the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
“I am very, very concerned about the mental stability of this president at this point,” Loudon told Dobbs, saying that Obama’s mental health is “not exactly what we might want to deem ‘sane.'”
Referring to the May 31 press conference following the announcement of the recovery of Bowe Bergdahl, Loudon began to assert that the recovered soldier’s father, Robert Bergdahl, had been “standing there and praising Allah on the White House lawn,” but Dobbs had to bring the segment to a precipitate close because of an upcoming “hard break.”
Almost immediately following news of his recovery, Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee Buck McKeon issued a statement contending that Obama had broken a federal law which he himself had signed on January 3, 2012 requiring that a 30-day notice to Congress be provided before the release of any Guantanamo Bay prison detainees.
Robert Bergdahl has clearly shown sympathy towards the Taliban, Islam and Afghanistan. He follows a person on Twitter identified by The New York Times as a Taliban spokesman and wears a shaggy beard and trimmed moustache said by two Middle East experts to signal that he has embraced Sharia law.
On Sunday, the Shoebat Foundation reported that putative CIA director John Brennan, a convert to Islam from when he worked in the Middle East years ago, advocated for the release of the five Taliban commanders against the recommendations of then-Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. On Saturday, Shoebat revealed that five congressmen who warned in letters to five Inspectors General two years ago of “Muslim Brotherhood infiltration” of the U.S. State Department had sought Walid Shoebat’s guidance “to etch some details regarding such Muslim Brotherhood infiltration.”
Since taking office, Obama has shown favor toward Islam and greeted several organizations and Islamic holidays in Arabic. He falsely stated in 2009 that “Islam has always been a part of America’s history” and has associates of The Muslim Brotherhood working not only at the State Department, but also within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and in various government agencies.
Contradicting the Obama regime’s story line that Bergdahl was a prisoner-of war, at least six soldiers from his former unit, Blackfoot Company, have come forward to say that Bergdahl “deserted during a time of war.” Just days after Bergdahl’s disappearance on June 30, 2009, Michelle Malkin had reported that accounts of Bergdahl’s alleged desertion had surfaced but were quickly deleted from news reports, one of them leading to an “Error 404” page with the Google logo.
Google has been known to be particularly friendly with the Obama regime. In 2009, Obama’s former communications director, Anita Dunn, proudly pronounced that the Obama campaign had “controlled the media” and built the website “Fight the Smears” which attempted to respond to the questions about Obama’s background, including his birthplace.
The House Armed Services Committee immediately signaled last Saturday that it objected to the release of the five prisoners and has called upon putative Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel to answer questions about the decision which led to it. Hagel has apparently agreed to appear in front of the committee on Wednesday, June 9. In addition, Chairman Buck McKeon almost immediately claimed that Obama violated a law he had signed regarding the 30-day required notice to Congress. In a press release dated June 3, McKeon wrote:
We are all relieved that Sergeant Bergdahl has come home to us safely. However, we have a responsibility to both the American people and the troops still in harm’s way in Afghanistan to get to the bottom of this deal with the Taliban.
I am particularly troubled by the release of five senior Taliban leaders, men with the blood of many on their hands, and the implications for our deployed forces. I am no less concerned that the Obama Administration broke a national security law, passed with bipartisan support and signed by the President, in transferring these detainees.
Obama released the five Taliban fighters from Guantanamo Bay without providing Congress the 30-day notice, claiming that Bergdahl’s “safety and health” were at stake. Bergdahl is currently at an Army hospital in Germany reportedly undergoing decompression and appropriate treatments after spending five years with members of the Haqqani network, a Taliban-related group.
Some have said that Bergdahl not only walked away from his unit, but also planned to conspire with the Taliban. A “major classified file” was opened on Bergdahl after he disappeared.
Addressing his son in Germany, the elder Bergdahl said, “I’m so proud of your character.”
On Wednesday, former Florida U.S. representative Allen B. West stated in a newsletter that “Obama and his aides have lost their minds” by releasing the highly-prized Taliban commanders, after which the Taliban rejoiced and stated that fighters would strive to kidnap more Americans in order to obtain the release of more prisoners. A pledge reportedly made by the government of Qatar to monitor their activities for one year appears to be non-binding.
West noted on his website on Friday that the White House already appears to be “discrediting” the first-hand accounts of those who served with and later searched for Bergdahl. Anyone who has publicly questioned Obama on his decisions or positions has been ridiculed, defamed, ostracized, and had his or her reputation shredded by Obama sycophants who may be criminally complicit in the cover-up of Obama’s past.
Obama has been noted to use solemn occasions to inappropriately talk about himself. Before his first presidential election, his statements appeared to some to be indicative of megalomania, to which one writer responded by asking, “How long can the press keep covering for this guy?”
During his five and one-half years in office, Obama has been described by many lay people as “a narcissist.” Quoted in Wikipedia’s entry on “narcissism,” 40-year therapist Dr. Alexander Lowen describes the condition as:
a personality disturbance characterized by an exaggerated investment in one’s image at the expense of the self. Narcissists are more concerned with how they appear than what they feel. Indeed, they deny feelings that contradict the image they seek. Acting without feeling, they tend to be seductive and manipulative, striving for power and control. They are egotists, focused on their own interests but lacking the true values of the self—namely, self-expression, self-possession, dignity, and integrity. Narcissists lack a sense of self derived from body feelings. Without a solid sense of self, they experience life as empty and meaningless. It is a desolate state.
Obama’s mental state has been questioned before. Dr. Sam Vaknin, who is considered an expert on narcissistic personality disorder and has written nine books on the subject, said of Obama’s first year in office:
Another sign of Obama’s growing malignant narcissism is his lowered Adversity Tolerance Threshold. I compared the number of times he snapped at critics and journalists during the election campaign and after he became President. The frequency of such temper tantrums has increased, though not drastically. Obama is still maintaining thespian self-control when it comes to the media and to his carefully-cultivated public image. Where he doesn’t bother anymore to project benevolence and maturity is with his staff: he is markedly and openly more aggressive and dismissive of his co-workers, underlings, crew, and team, clearly relishing his quasi-sadistic outbursts and their public verbal whipping.
Vaknin also reported that further evidence that Obama suffers from narcissistic personality disorder is that he “ignores data that conflict with his fantasy world, or with his inflated and grandiose self-image.” Vaknin’s work has been quoted and used extensively by counselors working with those affected by narcissistic personality disorder, who often become cult leaders.
In 2009, Vaknin spoke on the subject of narcissism on the G. Gordon Liddy radio show, during which Liddy asked Vaknin if Hitler met the definition of a “malignant narcissist.” In response, Vaknin referenced psychoanalyst Eric Fromm, “who diagnosed both Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin as ‘malignant narcissists.'”
Although Vaknin is not a licensed clinician and does not diagnose patients, he stated that Obama’s having achieved the U.S. presidency was “a major calamity” (5:10). At the time, Vaknin described “a whole host of narcissistic traits and behaviors” which he said Obama exhibited. He contended that Obama’s “sangfroid” is an element of psychopathic narcissism.
At 13:45, following a commercial break, Liddy said to Vaknin regarding Obama, “I wonder if we know enough about his youth; I mean, we can’t even figure out where he was born. There are very strong indications he was born in Mombasa, Kenya, but he claims to have been born in Hawaii, and the next thing you know, his mother has abandoned the father and gone to Seattle, and she remarries and he’s off to Indonesia.”
Vaknin responded that a child who suffered “abandonment,” “dislocations,” and other similar traumas “usually” develops a personality disorder. “No one escapes unscathed from such a childhood,” he said. “The child is hurt by such things…so in order to avoid this recurring nightmare…the child invents…’a false self,'” which is “everything that the child is not.” Vaknin said that the narcissist will try to portray the “false self” as real but “knows that his personality is a scam…” (18:44) “The narcissist is a deep-set con artist,” Vaknin emphasized.
“You seem to have described Obama to a ‘T,'” Liddy responded.
Obama has also been reported by a criminal investigator to have used several aliases. In September 2011, the Maricopa County, AZ Cold Case Posse began a probe into the long-form birth certificate image posted on the White House website in April of that year. On March 1, 2012, lead investigator Mike Zullo, along with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, declared that not only was the image fraudulent, but Obama’s purported Selective Service registration form had also been created on a computer and did not originate from a real, paper document.
According to mentalhealth.com with a link to DSM-5 used by the American Psychiatric Association, an individual may be suffering from antisocial personality disorder if he or she possesses the following traits:
- A pervasive pattern of disregard for and violation of the rights of others, occurring since age 15 years, as indicated by at least 3 of the following:
- Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest.
- Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure.
- Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead.
- Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults.
- Reckless disregard for safety of self or others.
- Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations.
- Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
Last week, when a HUD official called Bergdahl’s former fellow soldiers “psychopaths” for contradicting the Obama regime’s narrative that Bergdahl was “captured,” presumably against his will, The Post & Email tweeted in response that “Only a psychopath would post forged docs to deceive America: http://www.mcsoccp.org/joomla/ to which there was no response.
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “megalomania” as:
1) a mania for great or grandiose performance
2) a delusional mental disorder that is marked by feelings of personal omnipotence and grandeur
An entry by thefreedictionary.com describing “magalomania” refers the researcher to the term “insanity” for more information.
Two years ago, before the 2012 presidential election, some well-known writers and activists on the political left who had supported Obama in 2008 expressed dismay at his consolidation of power as evidenced by drone strikes and other matters of foreign policy. “We have a psychopathic megalomaniac occupying the White house who could be compared to Nero, Caligula, Stalin, or Pol Pot in his disdain for human life,” wrote Alexander Cockburn of Counterpunch.org.
Some were concerned in 2012 that if Obama were to win re-election, he would continue to increase the power of the executive branch and “turn our nation into his personal fiefdom.” Others have noted that Obama is an habitual liar, while many have observed his sealing of his personal records troubling.
Hitler has also been said to have been a “megalomaniac who refused to listen to his military experts and who, as a consequence, lost the war for Germany.”
According to WiseGeek.org, “megalomania is a term often ascribed to anyone who is power-hungry, the clinical definition is that of a mental illness associated with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD).”
Obama may or not be paranoid, although his treatment of the military would indicate that he is. Unquestionably, President Obama is suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) and Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD). This is very concerning because a leader with NPD would not hesitate to put his needs ahead of the country that he is leading. This fact, combined with his definitive diagnosis, of an ASPD sufferer means that a person with the combination of these two traits would not hesitate to carry out acts of extreme violence against individuals and groups perceived as being a threat to the authority and position of President Obama.
According to Psychology Today, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and the Antisocial Personality Disorder have “a lot in common.” PT reported:
The most important point is that people who are either antisocial or narcissistic are victimizers.. Most likely, every reader of this column has unfortunately known a man or woman who is incredibly self-centered and self-aggrandizing, who is untruthful and cannot be trusted, who fails to see things from any point of view other than his own, and who is able to eliminate fear (and conscience) long enough to pursue any means to an end. Invariably, others are betrayed, deceived, and emotionally (perhaps financially) injured. The narcissist may not commit an act that is illegal, but the damage he does may be devastating. In fact, because the narcissist appears to be law-abiding, others may not be suspicious of him leaving him freer to pursue his objectives, no matter at whose expense.
Obama has shown no remorse for the millions of Americans who have lost their health insurance as a result of his “signature” health care bill, Obamacare. While “making no apologies” for trading five terrorists for Bergdahl’s release from “captivity” and having his regime sycophants justify the action by stating that Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction,” he has said nothing about the wife and children of an American citizen imprisoned in a germ-infested Sudanese prison for the “crime” of being Christian, nor the plight of a former U.S. Marine locked in a Mexican prison and mistreated after reportedly taking a wrong turn into the country two months ago.
Obama’s alleged half-brother, Malik, has ties to Sudanese dictator Omar al-Bashir, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for crimes against humanity.
Last week, Obama said in Brussels, Belgium that to “get your folks back” at the end of a war is “the right thing to do.”
Dr. Lowen wrote in his essay, “Narcissism: Denial of the True Self,” that “Narcissists can be identified by their lack of humanness. They don’t feel the tragedy of a world threatened by a nuclear holocaust, nor do they feel the tragedy of a life spent trying to prove their worth to an uncaring world. When the narcissistic facade of superiority and specialness breaks down, allowing the sense of loss and sadness to become conscious, it is often too late.”
