“BEFORE OUR SHIP OF STATE SINKS”

(Jun. 8, 2014) — I don’t know how it happened, but your ship sunk and now you’re stuck out here in the middle of the ocean. For some quirk of fate, or reason, all of the paying passengers and crew have red heads, white arms and blue hands. You see people of all nationalities, races, ages, men and women, with this combination of colors. This is what you know: there were 1,000 legal passengers and crew aboard the ship that carried ten lifeboats, which makes it 100 to a lifeboat.
These lifeboats of yours are very special: carrying 100 passengers, there’s enough food, water and plenty of room for a comfortable and safe time aboard until you are rescued by the Coast Guard. One hundred one people aboard one of these boats and it goes downhill fast, really fast. There’s not enough food, water, or room and the bilge pump isn’t strong enough to pump the extra water out that the additional weight of even one undesirable passenger causes. To put it to you bluntly: the addition of just one extra passenger will sink your lifeboat.
But where are these extra passengers coming from? The ship could only carry 1,000 passengers and crew. And then it dawns on you: these extra passengers are stowaways. That’s right, they weren’t even supposed to be on your ship in the first place. Somehow many of these stowaways were on the ship when it sunk. You wonder if it’s at all possible that, just maybe, these very same stowaways were the cause of your ship sinking. Did they overload your ship?
And these stowaways are easily distinguishable from the crew and paying passengers because they are not red, white and blue. You see some lifeboats welcoming and pulling aboard these stowaways, and then you see the lifeboat sink, drowning all aboard, all the 100 red, white and blues and all of the stowaways. And then you see, on the side of your lifeboat, hands grasping the sides and trying to pull a person aboard, but these hands aren’t blue! Stowaways boarding! You stand and yell to all the crew and paying passengers, “Repel boarders!”
And that is what you, the crew, and all of the other paying passengers in your lifeboat do: repel ALL the boarders, regardless of nationality, race, age or sex. You survive, and so does your family.
Eventually you are rescued by the Coast Guard, but you are saddened by the loss of half the lifeboats, 500 of the crew and paying passengers drowned because they lacked the courage to stand up and fight for their lives. They “felt sorry” for those without blue hands, but by “feeling sorry” and, somehow, “responsible,” they signed their own death warrants.
Sadly, you had a friend on one of the lifeboats, and you know this by the text message that he sent you before his lifeboat sank:
“Outnumbered. We tried to reason, but they couldn’t comprehend the danger they were delivering themselves in. They are attacking us. We asked them if they are Obots; they ask us if we are ‘Birthers.’ We ask them if they believe in the Constitution; they call us ‘domestic terrorists.’ They are pulling in the stowaways even as we are sinking. These crew and paying passengers among us are not all together. Something is terribly wrong with their brains: they lost the ability to reason. Zombies? Goodbye, Your Friend.”
Deport illegal immigrants irrespective of nationality, race, age or sex. And do it NOW before our Ship of State sinks.
