Twenty-Year CIA Agent: Robert Bergdahl Appears to be “Sharia-Compliant”

(Jun. 6, 2014) — Clare Lopez, a senior fellow with the Center for Security Policy, told Tom Trento of The United West that recovered former soldier Bowe Bergdahl’s father Robert demonstrated to her that he is a “Sharia-compliant Muslim.”

Lopez detailed that in a Saturday afternoon news conference at the White House following the announcement of his son’s recovery, Robert Bergdahl not only sported the specific shaggy beard and “trimmed mustache” of an Islamic, but also spoke in Arabic in “the very first words of every single chapter in the Koran.”

Bergdahl purportedly spoke in Arabic from the White House lectern to address his son because he was “having trouble speaking English.”

“What the words mean is ‘In the name of Allah, the most gracious and the most merciful,'” Lopez explained.

Trento then asked Lopez to clarify that “in the name of Allah” was stated at the Rose Garden, “in the capital of the free world, Washington, DC?  Is that correct?” to which Lopez answered in the affirmative.

“This father, for whatever reason, was in effect claiming the territory of the White House for Islam.  These are the words that precede every single chapter of the Koran, except for one…but it is also what Muslim conquerors would say when they had conquered some new territory or defeated some enemy.  This was the prayer of praise to Allah that they would say upon a conquest,” Lopez said.

Middle East expert Walid Shoebat and his son, Ted, concurred with Lopez’s contentions, claiming that Obama smiled when Bergdahl uttered “the most famous Muslim expression, the ‘Bismillah’ or the “Basmallah.”

“When one gives the basmallah, trims his mustache and elongates his beard, its the first sign of a convert to Islam,” Ted Shoebat wrote on June 2.

Lopez said that the five Taliban leaders released by the Obama regime will undoubtedly return to attacks on Americans still deployed in Afghanistan and the greater Middle East.

The release of the high-ranking jihadis has prompted members of Congress to claim that Obama violated a law he signed which requires notification to Congress 30 days before any detainees are released from the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

The Taliban hosted Osama bin Laden after he was ejected from Sudan, allowing him to develop plans and acquire the materials and knowledge necessary to launch the attacks of September 11, 2001 in the United States which killed nearly 3,000 people.

There is evidence that the elder Bergdahl is a Muslim or sympathetic to radical Islam in his Twitter feed, and he follows a person reported by The New York Times in 2011 to be a spokesman for the Taliban.

Obama has long been suspected of practicing Islam or in other ways being particularly sympathetic to the Muslim world.  His former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, said that Obama was deeply immersed in Islam when he came to his church to reportedly familiarize himself with Christianity.

Obama has praised groups affiliated with The Muslim Brotherhood, a sworn enemy of the United States and Israel, and exalted Islam over Christianity repeatedly while he has occupied the Oval Office.

Since the prisoner “exchange,” Obama has been accused of treason in mainstream publications, although the first treason complaint filed against him occurred on March 17, 2009 and was never answered.

His action in releasing the five Taliban members has prompted discussion of impeachment by some members of Congress, with a staffer stating on Thursday that the House of Representatives is “working hard right now to draw up Articles of Impeachment…”

Constitutional attorney Michael Connelly told radio show host and editorial writer Dr. Laurie Roth on Thursday that Articles of Impeachment he had written two months ago were accessed by an individual working with Congress.
