(Dec. 8, 2025) — “Back in the day – 1700 – lawyers and actors were not allowed in the city limits after dark; they didn’t want people who lied for a living around them then. Today the USA is on the verge of destruction and guess what? Nearly half our politicians are lawyers. Coincidence? I think not.”
“Am I That Easy to Forget” (2:10)
“And that’s my opening. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ’The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Isn’t it amazing that we don’t like liars but when choosing a lawyer our morals go out the window? We all know that lawyers overcharge, so do we see a connection with politicians wasting other people’s – taxpayers’ (our) – money? With us as our featured guest is Pastor Dunkin, who once was a lawyer, and then what happened?”
“I caught a conscience, is what happened. As a Public Defender, I was tasked to represent a child molester. I entered a plea of “Guilty, Your Honor” at which time the judge brought me into chambers and asked me what I was up to. I answered that my job was to protect the Constitutional rights of the accused, not to lie. He then threw me off the case, and that’s when I knew I had to make the decision to live a life with integrity or to live a life as a coward, lying for money.”
“And that’s when you became a ‘Man of the Cloth?’”
“Not so fast; I took a few detours along the way, including a divorce, which was the real reason I opened my eyes and saw that I was living a hypocritical life, the worst kind of life to live.”
“Why’s that?”
“It’s bad enough judging people by what they say rather than by what they do, but when it comes right down to it, it’s pretty hard not to look in the mirror and become blind to the truth, that is, if you have a conscience, which I didn’t but then I did.”
“A ‘Road to Damascus Moment?’”
“Yes, that’s how it was. But I was too late. The woman I divorced didn’t want anything to do with me and I can’t blame her; I mean, I drank and lost all self-respect. By the time I straightened myself out, well, she moved on. Truth be told, I don’t believe she thought about me once since the day she cheated on me.”
“And you found the Lord?”
“Not so fast. Yes, I became a pastor, but I still couldn’t connect, not until one night Jesus Himself visited me in a dream and told me to live a righteous life, a life that would make my ex-wife proud, so that’s what I did, and do, I hope.”
“So, you still love your ex?”
“I never stopped. She cheated and I didn’t forgive her until it was too late. It’s all my fault for which I paid a high price. You see, PTSD affects not only the primary sufferer, but all those around him, too.”
“How’s that?”
“I miss her. Here’s the deal: most marriages have a roadblock or two. I had one and I couldn’t deal with it. Wish I had, but I was afraid she’d say, ‘Get lost,’ so by the time I got the nerve to beg for forgiveness, well, as I said, she moved on. The plus side is that, in my capacity as a pastor, I can help save marriages, which is important. Actually, it’s very important, especially when there are children involved.”
“We couldn’t agree with you more. Let’s pause for a short commercial break.”
“The Pill” (2:37)
“We were talking about lawyers, specifically the ones in politics.”
“That we were. Our politicians pass laws that defy common sense. Take the ‘transgender’ issue, for example. It’s mental illness, pure and simple, nothing more, nothing less, but letting boys in girls’ locker rooms is a bridge too far by a country mile; any fool can see that.”
“The Dems are fools?”
“Being played like a fiddle. Take Chuck Schumer, for example: his elevator has been stuck on the 13th floor for the past 40 years, but he doesn’t know it, and everyone who votes for him doesn’t know it.”
“Fake news?”
“No news; all they spew is propaganda, same catch words day after day: ‘Orange Man Bad’ when, in fact, Trump is the best thing since Washington and Lincoln all rolled into one.”
“I think we all agree with that.”
“Peachy, yet we still have ‘sanctuary cities.’”
“Care to explain that one?”
“Sure can. Either Pam Bondi, our Attorney General, doesn’t care or is blind. I think she’s a wonderful person who is acting a little too nice, and we just don’t have time for ‘nice,’ not anymore, as if we ever did, which we didn’t. By definition, people who support sanctuaries are enablers of lawbreakers, so it comes down to this: are we a nation of laws or are we a nation of lawbreakers?”
“Well, now, if we were truthful…”
“Anchor babies are our Achilles’ heel. You want to whine and cry, that’s your business; mine is to save our Republic so you either keep your mouth shut and get out of the way, or, simply put, you get thrown out with the bathwater.”
“Any last words?”
“Just this: Congratulations to Lando Norris, who won the Formula One Driver’s Championship in spite of the incompetence of his boss, Zack Brown.”
“And that’ll do it for this episode of our popular program. This is Henry, along with Pastor Dunkin, wishing each of you a goodnight. Goodnight.
“Good show. Burger time: my treat.”

I agree with Henry’s sentiment: Lawyers Broke Our Justice System.
Too many of today’s lawyers are liars-for-hire and pimps of Lady Justice in their unholy efforts to “legitimize” yesterday’s civil wrongs into today’s “civil rights”!
Politicians pay-to-play lawyers for their lip services in much the same way politicians pay-to-lay whores for their lip services!
DISBAR attorney-criminals like Joe and Hunter “JOKE and COKE” Biden, or else,
DISBAND state attorney-criminal licensing Boards!
Natural science engineers often work with nuts and bolts, whereas, political science attorneys often woke with nuts and dolts!
