A Dead Horse

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Archbishop Dunkin submitted the following for me to read to you, so here goes.

“When all’s said and done, each of us ingests calories to produce the energy to generate electrical impulses in our brain and throughout the body to instruct the muscles, either involuntary or voluntary, to contract or relax. It is the brain’s electrical energy that we call thinking. When we are in the womb, we are preparing our brains and bodies to cope with the shock of birth; after birthing our brains are receptables for information to go through life as safely as possible. Embryos and premature babies that experience miscarriage or abortion are what we call unlucky. A soldier getting killed on the battlefield is unlucky. Those who died in the World Trade Center on 9-11 were extremely unlucky through no fault of their own. At best, life is precarious as well as precious.

“The older one becomes, the more one realizes that maybe the living have more in common than one would normally think with other life forms. We accept the rational concept of culling, of maintaining a population of a particular life form so it doesn’t become a nuisance that will eventually overburden the food supply, for instance, and render it extinct. In the whole history of the earth the expected life cycle of all organisms is to go extinct; fair warning.

“Some postulate that the smallpox virus culled humans; others say it was the Ice Age. Viruses and climate changes certainly have wreaked havoc on the living; that fact cannot be denied. Outside forces set aside, we seem to do a fair amount of doing away with ourselves without any extraneous interference. Last century managed to cull over 100 million of us.

“The Japanese have got a double whammy, considering global physical devastation: volcanoes and earthquakes, not necessarily exclusive. A ‘fair warning’ to get out of Dodge isn’t much of a warning if it’s only four minutes, which is all the time many Japanese had when an 80-foot tsunami was to come crashing down upon them on March 11, 2011. And the whole earth is in danger of an asteroid crashing down upon us anywhere at any time. They say they’ll give us fair warning, but I think we’ve heard that one before.

“And then what? Does any one of us wish to know the time and place of our end, or would we want it to be a surprise? How about in our sleep? The Good Book instructs us not to take our own life, but does that go for the jumpers off the Twin Towers on 9-11? I hope not. Imagine yourself caught in such a dire circumstance, and you’re not allowed to dwell on the answer. Think quick. Horrible; at least on the battlefield there’s a chance to make it out alive; on top of those towers, no chance.

“In Thornton Wilder’s book, ‘The Bridge of San Luis Rey,’ a witness speculates what brought together those poor souls who fell to their deaths, looking for some cosmic meaning. Good luck on that one. There’s not much ‘meaning’ for those who met their untimely end on 9-11, especially since a ‘Ground Zero Mosque’ was proposed and still is.

“Longfellow wrote, ‘One, if by land, two, if by sea.’ I wonder how he’d fit airplanes into his poem. Yes, we live in a dangerous world, and it’s getting more dangerous by the day. We, as a species, are better off separate than together. We are all better off with secure borders, with our own currency, in our own country under our own flag. This ‘One-World Order’ diminishes us into a bunch of nobodies, of a bunch of ‘cut-outs’ where all are of one thought, one goal. T.H. White describe the condition to the likeness of ants; George Orwell wrote it was thought control.’ Anybody for ‘talking points’ from the ‘Fake News?’ DEI?”

“JFK saw the writing on the wall, which is why he didn’t want any part of Vietnam. Kennedy took Eisenhower’s warning of the ‘Military Industrial Complex’ to heart; that’s why they killed him. The writing was on the wall then just as it is now, but is anybody paying attention? I suppose time will tell, but this I will say: I don’t want to live in a country where there’s even the slightest hint of antisemitism, and anyone ‘offended’ by Christmas displays or being wished a ‘Merry Christmas’ I do not want in my country.

“But this is our country, and some are here who shouldn’t be here. I didn’t invite them, and I know you didn’t invite them. That’s right; our crooked politicians invited them along with the woke bureaucrats in the Department of State, among others. Sure, Trump is in charge, but how many in the government are sympathetic to our country’s demise? How many bought into the ‘Russian Collusion Hoax’ and still do?

“Which leads us to the topic of my sermon for the week after Easter, ‘Divine Mercy Sunday.’ I’ve been asked why our Veterans commit suicide at the prodigious rates that they do, and I always answer, ‘Because they’ve been sold out,’ that’s why. They joined up to protect the Constitution, to freely give their lives in the defense of our country, only to come home to what they were fighting against overseas. They understand the enemy, their duplicity, and are flabbergasted at how utterly stupidly gullible their fellow citizens are, those who drank the ‘Kool-Aid’ and spout the mantra, ‘peaceful and misunderstood.’ A lie told and retold is still a lie.

“Our Vets don’t trust the Pentagon with their self-destructive Rules of Engagement. Yes, we know there’s a new Commander-in-Chief, but that doesn’t erase Keith Ellison, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and ALL THE OTHER MUSLIMS IN OUR COUNTRY, now, does it? Of course it doesn’t. If we really want to get that Vet suicide rate down to zero, we must deal with the root cause instead of the pablum we’ve been made to swallow thus far. That’s right; if you believe Congress, it’s the Vets’ fault they’re doing themselves in and not the refusal to FIX THE PROBLEM.

“Is there a problem? I say there’s a problem. Think about it. The enemy hasn’t let up: ‘Boston Marathon Bombing,’ anyone? And they won’t let up. They haven’t let up for the past 1,600 years so, what makes you think they’ll change their stripes now? They won’t, you know. They want to make it a one-world Caliphate with women and animals regulated to the slaughterhouse, matching their worldview of all their yesterdays and all their days to come.

“In the suggestion box some our parishioners have commented that this ‘Harping on Muslims’ is just old news, that everybody knows what’s going on, but nobody wants to do anything about it. That may be true but, nevertheless, you must admit that there’s a problem, one heck of a serious problem that needs to be dealt with ASAP. My proposal is to ask the Muslims to self deport by 2027 or be kicked out with nothing. That’s right: they can retain their wealth by leaving now or Uncle Sam will take it all in the end. Sounds reasonable enough to me; how about you?

“But will any of our politicians see the light, ever know the truth? And what is the truth? The truth is that our Veterans are committing suicide because the enemy is within the gates; simple as that. Get rid of the enemy, then the suicides will end. The question is, of the two, our Veterans and the Muslims, which group do we hold dearer to our hearts? I would think that the answer would be a tad more than obvious: of course, we hold our Veterans closer to us than those who want nothing more than to overturn the Constitution and implement their Sharia Law.

“Now what do we about getting rid of the Muslims? We let our elected representatives know that we want to help our Veterans, help our country by deporting the Muslims; it’s that simple. Write them, call them, but you must tell them because, honestly, they either don’t know or don’t want to know. Do you think Trump knows? The only thing Trump may know is that we’re no longer dependent on Arab oil, which is good but not good enough, not by a long shot. We know that the Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization. We know that CAIR is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas. Heck, one Muslim is like any other: Boko Haram, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Iranian regime.

“Just send ‘DEPORT OMAR’ to your Congressman, if nothing else. Let’s get the ball rolling, folks. Amen.”
