John Howard was Right to Slate Turnbull over Freedoms!

Dear Editor,

Is Malcolm Turnbull vying with Gough Whitlam and Kevin Rudd to be remembered as Australia’s most brilliant but stupid prime minister?

Turnbull did not heed John Howard‘s proffered wisdom of writing religious and parental support of traditional, true marriage freedoms into any legalisation on SSM (now, parents suffer gender-bender fanatics’ influence upon vulnerable/easily manipulated children)!
Because apart from the dire necessity of such protections by law, the wily John Howard was only too well aware that among the almost 40% of Australians voting “NO” on SSM were 75%- 85% of the Coalition’s greatest long-term supporters, always contributing 75%-85% of the Coalition’s funding! Not to mention, by far, the most Election Day/campaigning, etc. Coalition volunteers!

Furthermore: Malcolm Turnbull should have realised every time he said he and Lucy were voting “Yes” and every time he was seen taking undignified (for a PM) ‘selfies,’ he lost more and more “meat-on-the-bone’ support. Talk about biting the majority of the desperately-needed hands that feed you!
