Dear Editor,
Gough Whitlam’s WWII service as an RAAF navigator is to be revered; however, his spell as Aussie PM is held in contempt by so many even today!
Only the Rudd-Gillard-Rudd fiasco surpasses the utter ineptness of Whitlam’s 1970s Labor Government. Whitlam may well be hailed a hero by “clever elites,” inclusive of the “chaff-head celeb set,” etc. However, along with Bob Hawke, Whitlam was a vile-mouthed racist betrayer of terror-stricken Vietnamese refugees fleeing the horrors of Communist totalitarianism (as is experienced in North Korea and Red China at this very moment)!
Moreover, Whitlam’s Australian-economy-destroying stupidity smashed into oblivion the jobs of so many, many tens of thousands of Aussie workers’ jobs (the majority probably having voted for him), causing this bloke of working-class origins to, ad nauseum, say: “Whitlam could not manage a kindergarten tuckshop in a depression!”
Yours,
Howard Hutchins
