The Boston Tea Party, organized by the Sons of Liberty, protested the 1773 “Tea Act” passed by
the British Parliament on the grounds of “no taxation without representation.”

(Jul. 1, 2021) — “Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay” (2:29)

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Today we have a real treat, a retired Federal Reserve employee who has an axe to grind; isn’t that correct, Miss Sanders?”

“No, that is not correct. First, my name is Mary Smith and I worked for the IRS, not The Fed. Now, as for any axe, I’d tone it down to a ‘concern’; would that be okay?”

“What about a ‘considerable concern’; would that work for you?”

“Yes, as long as you put it that way.”

“And if I would say you have an ‘astronomical’ concern, would I be on the right path?”

“Well, I suppose so.”

“If I were to say…”

“Stop it! Okay, okay, I’ll admit I have an axe to grind; heck, anyone would after slaving away for 30 years trying to get the goods on the secretive Fed which, by the way, has never had an audit done since forever, when they bought into the business that is the United States.”

“Now we’re on the right track. Answer me this, if you would, please: when, during the Obama administration, as the Fed was pouring $8 Billion a month into the stock market, it was, ostensibly at least, to fight inflation. What about today; what is happening?”

“I’ll tell you what’s happening; I’ll tell you exactly what’s happening: every dollar that the Fed prints is a dollar of tax to you, me and all of us; that’s what is happening.”

“A tax? Now how do you figure that?”

“Because it’s a dollar amount attributed to the National Debt, and the bigger the debt the greater the chances of an economic collapse, and the greater the chances of an economic collapse the greater the chances that the government will take even more freedoms away by making the citizens more reliant on the government for subsistence, such as food and housing.”

“And more Food Stamps. Excuse us while we take a short break.”

Remember Then” (2:09)

“And they want our guns.”

“I don’t remember any vote taken to print more money for any reason, do you?”

“No, because none was. It’s as if they levied a tax on us without our say so, just as the government did with the healthcare tax.”

“You mean Obamacare.”

“That’s right: we are being taxed to death and that’s all I have to say. I’ll say this: this Biden-Harris is America’s last straw. Giving money away to people who are not contributing is no different than giving a rat a free pass to a lifeboat who didn’t do a thing to help stop the leak of the ‘Ship of State’; matter of fact, they contributed to the sinking. Answer me this: how come these lazy bums aren’t cleaning up the trash that lines our highways, waterways and illegal-immigrant pathways of our country? How come we allow them to sit on their duffs and collect money that someday the Piper will come to collect?”

“Well, I’m afraid our politicians are just as worthless as a bump on a log, and with that we’ll be wishing you all a goodnight: Goodnight.

“Good show. Burger time: my treat.”

[Little People update: The paratroopers are on a field near the post office in Marydel, Maryland, and will host a ‘Thank-You BBQ,’ so if you’re in the area you’re welcome to join in on the meet-and-greet; just watch your step. A donation box will be hanging from the blimp at the entrance that will only accept paper currency; coins will make it too heavy to fly. The General will give a speech before the fireworks, which will be inspiring to one and all. Hope to see you there.]

[Shout-out to James Carter and Nikit’s_UN_Shoe: thanks for the support.]

[About that condo collapse in FL: the operative word here is efflorescence: steel rusts from the inside out, usually caused by ‘burning,’ when the ends of the rebar are within three inches of the concrete surface or cracks in the concrete that are not sealed properly, thereby allowing water to reach the rebar which will then rust to dust. Anyone who has ever had a saltwater aquarium can testify that salt water is one heck of a lot more corrosive than fresh. The parking garage at Palm Beach International Airport has examples.]

Keep on Dancing” (2:10)
