Trump: Results of Election Audit “Will be Very Interesting”

(Apr. 29, 2021) — On Wednesday evening, 45th President of the United States Donald Trump said on Gab.com that the judge overseeing a lawsuit brought by Arizona Democrats against Republican state senate members conducting an audit in Maricopa County of the November 3, 2020 election handed the Republicans a “BIG victory.”

According to Trump’s former personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, on Friday, Trump was being kept up-to-date on the audit’s progress, which began that day amidst a lawsuit filed Thursday by the Arizona Democratic Party claiming the audit’s methods to be too secretive and non-protective of voters’ privacy.

“BIG victory today in Arizona,” Trump tweeted Wednesday. “A highly respected Judge has just ruled that the Forensic Audit being done by the Arizona State Senate can and will continue. Over 100 Democrat lawyers were sent to fight against this audit. The results will be very interesting for the USA and the World to see!”

On Monday, Judge Daniel Martin, who was appointed in 2007 by then-Democrat Gov Janet Napolitano, assumed the case after Judge Christopher Coury recused himself. During a hearing held earlier Wednesday, Martin declined to extend the temporary restraining order (TRO) requested by the Democrats and issued by Coury on the condition that the Democrat Party pledge a $1 million bond to reimburse the firms conducting the audit for any expenses incurred during the pause.

Martin also ordered Cyber Ninjas, the Florida-based firm leading the audit effort, to disclose “documents outlining their procedures.” While Martin said he was unconvinced that voters’ rights were being observed in accordance with the law, he also opined that the plaintiffs “failed to show enough evidence that there would be harm to voters due to the audit procedures currently being used,” KPHO Broadcasting reported late Wednesday.

Both the Democratic Party and Cyber Ninjas can appeal the ruling before noon local time on Thursday, according to the report.

As he did earlier in the week, Trump questioned the Democrats’ motive in attempting to thwart the audit but provided an answer of his own:

Why are the Democrats fighting so hard to hide the facts? I know why, and so does everyone else!

In the aftermath of the November 3 presidential election, Giuliani led the Trump campaign’s legal efforts to expose what Giuliani and his colleagues claimed to be massive fraud in at least six “swing” states and to which more than a thousand people attested in sworn affidavits, according to Giuliani.

Early Wednesday morning, federal search warrants were served at Giuliani’s apartment and office, from which all of his electronics except one laptop were reportedly seized. According to the AP, “Federal agents raided Rudy Giuliani’s Manhattan home and office Wednesday, seizing computers and cellphones in a major escalation of the Justice Department’s investigation into the business dealings of former President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer.”

In contrast, no investigation was launched after current White House occupant Joe Biden bragged at a 2018 Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) discussion about having pressured the Ukrainian president to fire a prosecutor reportedly investigating an energy company from which Biden’s son was receiving generous remuneration as a member of its Board of Directors for corruption. In fact, President Trump was impeached and put on trial for purportedly pressing the new Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in July 2019 to investigate whether or not the Bidens had participated in a corrupt scheme in that country.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, social-media sites Facebook, Twitter and others censored all reportage of the revelation that Hunter Biden’s laptop had been in the possession of the FBI since December 2019 and contained evidence of collaboration among the younger Biden, members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the man serving then as vice president, Joe Biden to garner millions of dollars from the Chinese to Hunter’s firm.

That evidence was corroborated on-camera by the Bidens’ former financial liaison, Tony Bobulinski, on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” in late October.

Fox News commentator Sean Hannity, Giuliani and others have said the emails and other material on the laptop are highly incriminatory and link Hunter Biden to criminal activity.

On Wednesday evening’s show, Carlson reported that former Trump adviser and longtime supporter Roger Stone, who was convicted of lying to Congress about whether or not he had foreknowledge of Wikileaks’s release of emails damaging to Hillary Clinton in July 2016 but pardoned before Trump left office, was sued by the Justice Department for having allegedly failed to pay the interest on his taxes. The taxes were paid, Carlson said. The complaint makes the claim that the taxes in question, allegedly from 2007-2011 as well as 2018, were unpaid and that Stone used a company to shelter his earnings from taxation.

Stone denied the government’s claims, calling them “preposterous.”

Approximately four weeks ago, outspoken Trump supporter and congressman from Florida’s first district Matt Gaetz was reported by The New York Times to be under federal investigation for alleged sex-trafficking. Gaetz has not been charged and denies the claims, stating he was instead the target of a “criminal extortion” operation “involving a former DOJ official seeking $25 million while threatening to smear my name.”

Hunter Biden is reportedly under federal investigation for possible tax-related issues but said he is “confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.” The younger Biden, who has suffered from various forms of addiction in the past which he might have concealed on a 2018 federal pistol permit application, has been invited to speak on “media polarization” at Tulane University and recently published a memoir, “Beautiful Things.”

A former federal prosecutor later known as “America’s Mayor” in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks on New York City, Giuliani said he provided a copy of the Hunter Biden laptop to The New York Post, which broke that story in October. Giuliani has claimed Hunter Biden committed crimes meriting imprisonment, including “blatant violations of” the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) (9:20 in video).

On Wednesday Giuliani’s possessions were searched allegedly for evidence pertaining to registration as a foreign agent, his attorney, Robert Costello, said in a statement.

In 2016, members of the Perkins Coie law firm, the Obama Justice Department, State Department and FBI claimed or suggested that the Trump campaign had established improper ties to the Russian government with the purpose of facilitating an election victory for the former businessman. However, a 2+-year special counsel investigation concluding in March 2019 revealed it was the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Hillary Clinton campaign which hired an intermediary to collaborate with Russians and others to create the “Trump-Russia collusion” narrative, prompting unlawful surveillance on Trump campaign aides, some of whom were prosecuted criminally, accepted plea deals and/or spent time in prison.

Along with several other law firms and organizations, Perkins Coie has aggressively sought to stop the Maricopa County election audit. According to author, naturalized American citizen and Trump supporter Nick Adams on Wednesday, there is “Big stuff happening in Maricopa County!!”

Nine cameras are trained on the audit, which is taking place at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix under considerable security.
