Dear Senator Leahy,
On your website you state that “The President Pro Tempore has historically presided over Senate impeachment trials of non-presidents”. You further said that “When presiding over an impeachment trial [of non-presidents]” that you “Take an additional special oath to do impartial justice according to the Constitution and laws”. You further said that “It is an oath that [you] take very
Seriously”.
To quote you further you said that you “consider holding the office of the President Pro Tempore and the responsibilities that come with it to be one of the highest honors and most serious responsibilities of [your] career” and that “When [you] preside over the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump, [you] will not waiver from [your] sworn obligations to administer the trial with fairness, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws”.
You have absolutely NO Constitutional role in “Presiding over” an impeachment trial of a “former” President. By doing so you dishonor yourself and the “Oath(s)” that you took. The oaths which you stated you “take extra-ordinarily seriously”.
As I told Chief Justice Roberts, Senator Mc Connell and Senator Schumer, The current ultra vires “impeachment trial” of “Former” President Trump is unconstitutional on its face. By continuing this farce you become a disgrace to America’s founding principles.

There is a plan by Democrats to alternately “Censure” Donald Trump if their spurious and specious “Impeachment” effort fails. That TOO is NOT provided for in the Constitution. The Democrats have ALL violated their oaths of office and are ALL now subject to ethics investigations and expulsion. In an ideal world. In an ideal world. “We the People” are THEIR Bosses. They are NOT our bosses.
If a majority of the Senate votes to censure, then this majority isn’t going to vote expel itself.
Martial law or pitch torches and forks – you make the call.
There is NO provision in the Constitution that gives the Senate or House the power to “censure” either a sitting President OR former President. Politicians who violate their oaths of office are malfeasant in office. “The Senators and Representatives….SHALL be BOUND by oath…to support this Constitution…”- Art.VI, US Constitution.

These people are trying to manufacture new law ignoring the constitution to fit their sick narrative. It isn’t going to work.
In order to protect their criminal livelihood that they have relentlessly levied against We The People, the Washington DC (District of China), aka The Swamp, has set countless bear traps for President Trump over the last five and a half years. Now, the arrogant swamp forgets where all these the traps are located. Due to their own insane hatred of President Trump, the unsuspecting swamp soon will be caught in all of their own traps.

I like your comment…concise and to the point. You’re so right! The arrogant disease infested swamp (btw, they kicked “Swamp Thing” out of the swamp…turns out, he was seen eating a fish on the banks of swamp wearing a red MAGA cap) has forgotten where all the bear traps, meant for KING TRUMP, are located. And I believe (sorry folks, some one was knocking at my front door, looked in peephole and two guys with black trench coats and dark sunglasses were standing on my porch, I told them to hold on a second)…ok, I’m back, where was I, oh yeah…I believe those bear traps will magically split into many more smaller rabbit traps that are set and ready to “#%!%=#÷! SNAP #!$%=#÷# when they least expect it.
