NEW “THEME” AND OTHER UPGRADES REQUIRED

by Sharon Rondeau

(Aug. 25, 2020) — Last winter The Post & Email was informed that upgrades to the site would likely be needed in 2020.  We subsequently launched a fundraiser to which readers responded generously.

The funds collected were largely used to upgrade our “Comments” section twice:  the first time to add the ability to edit a comment within five minutes of its submission, and the second two weeks ago after readers’ comments mysteriously stopped appearing.

We thought all was well until last week, we began seeing frequent “critical error” messages when attempting to publish new articles. Troubleshooting performed today by our hosting company, Pressable, revealed that our WordPress theme is outdated and can no longer handle our publication needs.

We very much want to continue our work and have engaged a developer to begin the major overhaul.  We can accept financial support through SquareUp through credit or debit card.  Alternatively, you may send a check to:

We thank you for your support.

  1. I would ask that every reader who comes here regularly and values all of Sharon’s hard work and devotion to American values and ideals and the truth, please donate a few dollars minimum to this cause. The P & E is a labor of love, but in these dangerous times has become a labor of necessity. I know of no greater patriot and relentless warrior for truth, than Sharon Rondeau. She deserves our support for her tireless work. She is a devoted patriot and unabashed American. Please consider supporting her. She deserves it.
To Sharon, I would personally like to thank her for all her hard work these past years. I consider her a friend and would encourage her not to be in anyway embarrassed about leaving this solicitation for assistance in a prominent spot on the home page through the end of the year. I will be sending her a check in the next few days.
