(May 22, 2019) — WHO: Bridgeport Director of the Mayor’s Initiative for Reentry Affairs (MIRA) Eric Christmas, President & CEO of Career Resources, Inc. Scott Wilderman, City Council, and community members
WHAT: Bridgeport’s Mayor’s Initiative for Reentry Affairs (MIRA) in partnership with Career Resources, Inc., RYASAP, ABCD, MIRA, The WorkPlace, and the Connecticut Department of Labor will kick off a Youth Job Fair for local youth between the ages of 16 and 24 who are seeking employment. There are over 35 employers and resource providers hiring for summer positions and permanent employment. The job fair will also include local universities for those seeking information on higher education. Youth are asked to bring copies of resumes and dress to impress.
