(Dec. 8, 2018) — “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ perhaps the last place where there’s such a thing as ‘Pure Truth.’ Hello, my name is Roving, as in Roving Reporter (RR), and, as you can see, we’re back in Professor Zorkophsky‘s office here at the university. The Professor has just written a new book, Paris Burning,’ but it says here ‘in collaboration with a mystery guest writer,’ which is puzzling. Hello, Professor, and congratulations on your latest best-seller. By the way, Professor Zorkophsky, our curiosity is at an all-time high: who is this ‘mystery co-author?’”

“Look out the window — see, over there, next to the oak tree. And, please, call me ‘Zork’; there’s no need to be so formal.”

“I see that Vietnam Veteran and, oh, there she is: the Talking Dog.”

“You got it. And before you ask, I’ll tell you the story. I was at the dog park with my pooch, Candy, and this dog comes up and says she’s got a great idea for a book, to write about ‘follow the money’ and the reason ‘why Paris is burning and, soon, all of Europe will be burning.’ Yes, that was the start of what, I thought, looked like a great collaboration.”

“So it worked really good for you two?”

“It wasn’t a piece of cake, selling the Talking Dog to the publishers, but after I convinced them that the dog doesn’t actually do the talking, that the dog communicates through telepathy to that Vietnam Veteran, they came on board.”

“So then what? Oops, I almost forgot about this commercial.”

“They asked the dog about the outline and they were really impressed, so much so, as a matter of fact, that they gave us a rather substantial advance.”

“So what’s the gist of the book?”

“It’s about the history of the fall of France.”

“So, when was the starting point, the cave paintings in Chauvet?”

“No, more recent: the 1954 Algerian Muslim uprising against France, otherwise known as ‘Car Bombing 101.’  And, look, in walks the Talking Dog and friend. How you guys doin’? You all know Roving and crew. Roving was just asking me when France got up on the wrong side of the bed.”

“The Talking Dog says when France joined the EU was the last straw.”

“Why do you say that?”

“She says that’s when all the European countries gave up their sovereignty, just like Ryan, Schumer, Pelosi* and the rest of the Democrats have in store for our country.”

“We’re that close to being history?”

“We’re that close, which is why I say to President Trump: release the documents.”

“When do you think it would be a good time to do that, release the documents?”

“Before the midterms.”

“But the midterms are long past us.”

“That’s the point: the longer he waits, the less effective the truth will affect whatever outcome is beneficially possible.”

“What else?”

“Paris burning is but a symptom of a failed system of government called Socialism; it’s the inevitable conclusion of what happens when stupid people are sold a pig-in-a-poke. The importation of millions of Muslims living off the sweat of working French people is not a recipe for success.

“Listen: unemployed Muslim men get bored, so they kidnap people off the streets of Paris, in broad daylight, such as a young Jewish man (Llan Halimi), and spend days torturing him to death. It’s what Muslim men do. They kidnap journalists and behead them, like they did to Daniel Pearl.”

“Bad news.”

“You better believe it. But then look at the Chinese occupying Tibet and our government hasn’t said one word about it. You know the Chinese government has a price on the Dalai Lama’s head? I’d kick that Xi Jinging from here to, well, how about China?”

“You are one funny dog. Okay, I’m afraid it’s that time, time for me, on behalf of the crew, to wish you all a goodnight: Goodnight.

“Great show. So you’re all invited for burgers: my treat.”
