VIOLENCE, DRUGS, FAMILY BREAKDOWN AMONG CAUSES

(Feb. 22, 2018) — There are so many underlying issues behind the mass shooting problem that have nothing to do with our Second Amendment. To name a few, in this country video games, movies, and television extol violence with and without guns.
Guns and drugs are smuggled in across the southern border and the three other borders. Tunnels are even dug by the smugglers in our country to get weapons and drugs into our country.
There is a tremendous lack of mental health facilities and help in America. There is a breakdown of the family unit in this country. I could go on and on.
It takes a finger to pull a trigger. All these issues have to be not just addressed, but handled.
Yesterday on the Mark Levin radio program, Brian Mudd of WJNO filled in for Mark. The topic was school shootings and what follows are my interpretations of the main points made by Mr. Mudd.
1. Public schools are not teaching the true meaning of the second amendment and why it was important enough to the Founders that they chose it as the 2nd amendment and not a later one.
2. The Department of Education was started in 1980 by President Carter. At the time our quality of education was rated #2 (after Australia as #1) in the world as “a world class education”. Since then we have gone down hill and are now #17 in the world.
3. A limited version of US History is being taught in the schools. And I might add, the definition of “natural born citizen” as I was taught in the 60s and 70s is no longer being taught to our younger generations.
4. Public schools have gradually eliminated God, the teaching of morality and human decency in our schools and substituted diversity and equality.
5. Bullying has always been a problem in our schools, and it used to be at the end of the school day it was over. Now with social media it continues virtually 24 hours a day. With the use of technology, i.e. cell phones and texting, our young people are loosing the benefit of face to face communication.
Well, these are the main points that come to mind. If anyone else was listening to this very well done program by Brian Mudd and have anything to add, I would welcome it.
The family unit is the first government, an incubator for a growing child’s values and affections. Trust is the mortar that holds these precious units together to form a storm-resistant society.

Blame the brain, not the barrel!
THINK behind mind bars, instead of behind steel bars, so we can avoid employing the American BAR Association!
I predict that the “war on school shootings” will fail right from the get-go because our drug-altered American society and its unaccountable life-of-its-own government-citizenry will attempt to keep their jobs by SOLVING PROBLEMS WITH PROGRAM$ = more cop$, more school monitor$, more metal detector$, more lawyer$, more $ecurity camera$, more news coverage$, more councilor$ et al. To many in our selfish government-citizenry, school shootings are not a problem, SCHOOL SHOOTINGS ARE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR JOBS!
Over time, the whole expanded employment vice of the SCHOOL SHOOTER INDUSTRY will become economically dependent upon un-ending school shootings as so many “security employees” will hope school shootings never go away because that would mean the end of their employment/career/pensions!
