“I WARNED YOU ON THAT, DIDN’T I?”

As reported by OPOVV, Gateway Pundit, and certain news outlets, a homeless woman who decided she needed to stand guard over the star awarded to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame was taunted and ultimately pushed to the ground, where a sizeable group of onlookers looked on and did nothing.

Video of the assault was posted on Twitter by USDeposeUsurperObama on Friday night.

The woman was exercising her First Amendment right to peacefully protest and make a political statement, but her opponents did not view it in the same light.

The star bearing Trump’s name was destroyed early on Wednesday morning and would cost “thousands” to repair, according to Thursday’s Houston Chronicle.

Trump received the star in 2007 as a result of his NBC highly-rated “The Apprentice” reality show.  It was reportedly destroyed with a pickax and sledgehammer and had also been vandalized in April.  The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce maintains the national attraction and quickly dispatched a team to repair it.

One of the signs the woman had held up as she sat near or on top of the repaired star on Friday said, “20 Million Illegals and Americans sleep on the streets in tents.  Vote Trump.”

As the woman attempted to leave the scene with her basket of belongings and signs, opponents grabbed the signs, tore them and threw them to the ground.  “You got exactly what you were dishin’ out,” one perpetrator shouted at her.  “I warned you on that, didn’t I?”

In an Infowars video, the woman can be heard saying that she is 64 years old.  Some people laughed as she lay on the ground, at first motionless, then making some movement while grabbing on to her tipped-over basket.

“This is Hollywood acting right here, guys,” one man said as she lay on the sidewalk.  The most prominent perpetrator, seen wearing a Christian cross,  shouted at her that “the paramedics may have been here if they weren’t — oh — Mexican,” an apparent taunt aimed at her objection to the “illegals” mentioned on her sign.

Some shouted, “Where’s Donald Trump?”

Update, 1:43 p.m. EDT:  Trump Organization EVP and attorney Michael Cohen appears to have launched a search for the identity of the woman who was assaulted as well as her attackers.

One Twitter user said she has raised money for the woman, while the hashtag #StarProtector appears to have been coined for her.

This homeless woman was honorable and decent. She is what America is all about. Alone, she took a stand being a watchman. In taking a stand, bystanders assaulted and mocked her. These thugs were spineless.

This is what we get when we kick God to the curb. This is what we get when the rule of law is neglected.

She did the right thing; all others avoided morals. We are reaping what we have planted.

This lady hurt no one and only wanted to do a good and moral act. May the Lord bless her.
