Last Wednesday a TEAM of US went to Albany again. The mission was to “target” specific legislators and lobby them. We also hand-delivered more of OUR material to bolster OUR crusade for FULL Repeal of the SAFE Act. There were not “great expectations,” just chipping away – bit by bit – gaining support. The mission was a complete success. The accomplishments will soon become “visible” – stay tuned. BTW – lol – it just so happened that WE ran headlong into the feud over Senate Leader – WOW….LOL. What a ruckus….LOL
YOU Should Know: These efforts are NOT “politics.” WE are NOT working on elections – NOT taking directions from politicians – NOT listening to “their” speeches and definitely NOT making contributions to “their coffers.” WE do NOT favor “political party.” WE ARE conducting “Civic Actions” to “influence” OUR VIEWS upon them. WE ARE finding corruption and participating in its expulsion. WE ARE building “A Force To Be Reckoned With.” WE act with “Free Will” – there is NO “power structure.” WE are all equal, and OUR freely coming together creates TREMENDOUS POWER.
MISSION Albany – Tuesday, May 12th
- Begins 9:00 am at the LOB Concourse security check point for organizing discussion.
- Lobby specific legislators and then deliver a new FULL Repeal of the SAFE Act info package to every legislative office. There will be a list of specific legislators to visit. Some of us will be assigned one to visit. All people participating will hand-deliver info to every legislator’s office.
- Lobby Senate members to Vote for John DeFrancisco for Senate Leader. All people participating in this initiative will hand-deliver info to every legislator’s office.
- At 3:30pm WE re-gather at the security check point to discuss the day’s “encounters.”
WE have learned along the way. WE will not have immediate gratification. WE must grind away. A victory will come with focus and dedication. WE ARE GRINDING TOWARD SUCCESS. We are becoming a major force. The more they see us, the more they pay attention. This is across the board – both Rs and Ds – both the Senate and Assembly – WE are gaining ground.

ALSO: If YOU are of the mind to go to Albany on your own – just do it. Tuesday, May 12th is a fine day to visit the Albany LOB and Capitol. On that day you will know there are other “friendly faces” roaming the halls.
These “adventures” are NOT a waste of time. They are a necessary part of what needs to happen if WE expect FULL Repeal of the SAFE Act and/or any significant improvement in New York State. Without OUR faces being seen in Albany, the corruption will continue. Just experiencing – first-hand – what “business as usual” really is in Albany has an amazing effect – on US – and more important – on “THEM.”It matters not if it’s a group of 5 or 500 of US – WE WILL do all we can Tuesday, May 12th. OUR goal is to Influence The Next Senate Leader Vote and to get a Vote on FULL Repeal of the SAFE Act by June 17, 2015.
Tuesday, May 12th, WE meet at 9:00 am at the Concourse Security checkpoint in Legislative Office Building (LOB). We go through security and gather to organize and discuss our details and procedures. YOU can contact albel1@aol.com for more specifics or YOU can just show up.
