Congressman Says “Obama Knew” of Veterans Admin Scandal but “Ignored It”

(May 19, 2014) — Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX36) published a press release on Monday stating that Obama was aware of problems in the Veterans Administration and “chose not to act for years, even as veterans died.”

The VA scandal erupted last month when it was discovered that at least 40 veterans died because of a “scheme” “deliberately put in place to avoid the VA’s own internal rules” in which an unknown number of employees at now what appears to be two or more Veterans Administration hospitals falsified appointment books to give the impression that veterans were being provided medical care on a timely basis when they were not.

Stockman and Fox News have quoted The Washington Times, which reported on Monday that it had obtained documents through a FOIA request which show that “the problems [with the VA] existed well before Mr. Obama took office, dating back at least to the Bush administration. But the materials raise questions about what actions the department took since 2009 to remedy the problems.”

Last week, Obama’s chief of staff, Denis McDonough, said that Obama found the veterans’ deaths while awaiting medical appointments “an outrage.”

Veterans Administration Secretary Eric Shinseki was reportedly “mad as hell” about the falsified appointments resulting in deaths, with Obama even “madder.”

McDonough also claimed that he “has the scars to prove” Obama’s professed outrage and demand for an investigation and “fix.”  Whether or not McDonough meant physical scars has not been clarified.

In 2007, perhaps while campaigning for a position for which he knew he was unqualified, Obama “vowed” to improve veterans’ long wait times when addressing a VFW gathering.

At this time last year, Obama said that he was “angry” and “outraged” over the IRS’s admitted targeting of right-leaning groups, but documents released by Judicial Watch show that members of Congress participated in the scandal by asking the IRS to silence those groups for political reasons.  After being “outraged,” Obama later claimed that there was “not a smidgeon” of corruption within the IRS, but that rather, the IRS had been “confused” over how to “implement the law.”

Lois Lerner, the former director of the tax-exempt division of the IRS, has been held in contempt of Congress and may face criminal charges and “jail time.”  Lerner originally said that the IRS’s extra scrutiny of Tea Party and “conservative” groups was limited to the Cincinnati, OH office when in fact, it was steered by individuals in Washington, DC.

Obama’s alleged “outrage” over veterans dying unnecessarily is not fooling everyone.

Obama has shown confusion over his birthplace, as he was first “born in Kenya” before he was “born in Hawaii” as of April 2007, two months after he declared his candidacy for the presidency.  Article II, Section 1, clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution requires the president and commander-in-chief to be a “natural born Citizen.”

Obama claims he has released a copy of his certified, long-form birth certificate held by the Hawaii Department of Health, but a criminal investigation by the Maricopa County, AZ Cold Case Posse declared it a “computer-generated forgery,” along with his Selective Service registration form.  The forgery of a government document is a federal felony.

Despite questions over his constitutional eligibility to serve bolstered by fraudulent identification documents, Obama is still called “President” by media outlets which refuse to report on the findings of fraud and forgery now more than two years old.  Stockman is said to be among a number of congressmen who supports publicizing the posse’s conclusions, although he has not yet spoken on the matter.  However, even he calls Obama “President.”

Breitbart, which first disclosed that Obama’s official biography had said that he was born in Kenya, displays the slogan “You deserve the truth” when a reader lands on its website.  However, Breitbart reportedly would not allow “the truth” about Obama’s fraudulent documentation to be made public on its pages by investigative reporter Charles C. Johnson.

On May 12, 2012, in its revelation about Obama’s original biography, Breitbart stated:

Andrew Breitbart was never a “Birther,” and Breitbart News is a site that has never advocated the narrative of “Birtherism.” In fact, Andrew believed, as we do, that President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.

Yet Andrew also believed that the complicit mainstream media had refused to examine President Obama’s ideological past, or the carefully crafted persona he and his advisers had constructed for him.

Those who call Obama “President” are the same outlets which will not report on the fraud and forgery of his identification documents, which include not only Breitbart, but also The Washington Examiner, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, and many others.

One writer described the VA as possessing a “greater culture of deceit” which punished two whistleblowers by suspending them for two weeks without pay for refusing to participate in the false scheduling scheme.

Cold Case Posse lead investigator Mike Zullo has said that the Obama birth certificate forgery was created and made public “with an intent to deceive.”
