ASSIMILATION OR AMNESTY?

(Apr. 8, 2014) — Forget borders. Let’s do away with immigration; we don’t enforce it anyway. So if we Americans don’t have any respect for the law, why should anyone else have respect for our laws and, worst-case scenario, for us?
Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner. The PC police will be out in force, probably handing out tickets for anyone caught displaying Old Glory. Meanwhile, between now and then, thousands of illegal immigrants will have entered our country for a number of reasons, with freebies being on the top of the list. Here’s the problem with that: these “freebies” aren’t free, not if we paid for them.
What we have today are a bunch of “little countries” inside our own country. Reminds me of the movie “ALIEN,” where the big lizard lays eggs and when the eggs hatch they eat the meal that the mother provided, just as wasps do. Not an original idea, but entertaining, since the big lizard provides a meal made up of a humans for her little lizards.
So within our country today, we have millions of illegal immigrants and legal citizens who speak Spanish, and only Spanish, who would’ve sided with Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao and Idi Amin had they given away the freebies as we’re doing. The point is this: they don’t respect our laws, nor do they respect “The Gringo.” Even the legal Spanish-speaking citizens have no problem with ceding the Southwest of the United States to Mexico.
On paper it’s not a bad trade: they get the rocks and cactus, and we get out of paying them freebies. Just kidding, because then we’d still have the Kansas border wide open and then they’d vote themselves over to Mexico yet again; pretty soon they’d make us all Mexicans and then we all can starve together.
So what I’m saying is that the chances of illegal immigrants having any fidelity, any relationship with our Constitution, is way below zero, just like this so-called new-found “love and respect” for us.
There is a solution, you know. It’s been thought of before I ever came on the scene: deport illegal immigrants. I don’t rightly care if you have to deport a dozen or 12,000,000. Just do it. Amnesty is just a sorry excuse not to face up to one’s responsibilities: no votes are garnered, but loss of respect is.
[NOTE: I will concede that perhaps 10% of Spanish-speaking American citizens don’t necessarily support seceding from the Union, but I will also say that 100% of amnesty recipients (illegal immigrants) will have lost any and all respect for the American people, if they had any in the first place.]
