OBAMA “JUST THE TIP OF THE PYRAMID”

(Feb. 27, 2013) — Each of us has but a fleeting time in our corporal shells, and as generations inexorably pass from the past to tomorrows, leaving a legacy isn’t the hoarding of cows or gold or of building monuments to anything, for what could ever possibly compete with the Heavens? No, the everlasting mark that any of us have is in our everyday acts of kindness to strangers.
Many things that we humans have touched have turned to dust. Different life forms, unique species wiped out in a quest driven by greed, a product of rats living in an overcrowded maze, surrounding all available fresh water holes and polluting the same.
Elaborate schemes have surfaced to excuse the destroyers of our Eden. Opportunities abound to buy one’s way out of the responsibilities of polluting at the expense of every living thing on the planet, from the plankton under the ice in Antarctica to the moss growing on ancient crumbling columns in Greece. Words such as “cap,” “trade,” and “credits” are tossed out into the wind with the same results: pollution occurs nevertheless. If you don’t believe me, just visit any gold mine’s “containment” procedures.
In any given population there are bad apples. Societies that are close-knit are able to identify and then thwart potential anti-social and/or psychotic individuals from hatching their destructive desires upon the population.
Or, worse yet, what if someone is borderline nuts and therefore, it is virtually impossible to detect future negative contributions to the well-being of society as a whole? A good example of such specimens is to be found in our very own halls of Congress, where the vast majority are egomaniacs that feed as pigs from the trough of pay raises and over-inflated retirement packages, perks beyond your wildest imagination.
We went from a people who valued individualism to a greedy and vindictive people who worship sloth and envy, turning our collective backs on “The Golden Rule.”
The price of admission for my one and only Presidential Rally was to show a loaded weapon. Think about it: hundreds of people, representing every social and economic strata of America, supporting the Constitution, “loaded to the gills,” and there wasn’t a law enforcement officer in sight.
The point of this editorial? Treat others as you would wish to be treated and don’t turn your back on the crazies of the world. Obama is just the tip of the pyramid, and that’s the TRUTH.

Many times I have thought of your one and only Presidential Rally with a loaded weapon….and NOT one death! Interesting to say the least with all the anti-gun laws.
