AND THE CORRUPTION OF THE SOUL

Some worker bees work harder than others, like people

(Feb. 14, 2013) — Let’s face it, if you need a lawyer, you want the best. Perps have a saying: you want the most justice you can afford. So life isn’t fair, some people just never grow up, like “Occupiers,” or the overwhelming majority of politicians, who vote themselves every possible advantage to maintain their dividends from the Golden Goose, such as free mailings, name recognition and major political party backing. Look at me, how many votes did I get during the last presidential election? Okay, what difference would it had made if I received every vote? As Stalin said, “It is enough that the people know that there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

And here’s another thing: if history teaches us anything, it’s the multitude of tombstones that say “This country died of Socialism,” time after time, year after year. So why doesn’t the “one for all and all for one” work? Simple: human nature. You see, eventually the worker bees get wise to the game the lazy bees are playing: worker bees contribute to the greater good of the society, while the lazy bees are a drain on the progress made by the worker bees, so at some point, the worker bees stop working.  Maybe they pack up and go somewhere else where opportunity isn’t stifled by mediocre paper-pusher minds.

A good example of the “make-work” attitude is that of Congress passing bills, yet the reality is that there are already way too many laws as it is and any more would be just madness, but there they go, session after session, taking great pride in gumming up the works even more than it previously was.

The IRS is probably the most ridiculous government department in the history of the world, the most inefficient, and certainly the most unfair, unjust, and unwarranted, not to mention illegal. So what’s so bad about a flat sales tax, the same for everyone? Isn’t that equality? Isn’t that a fair way to generate needed revenue for the government to insure that we are safe from fear, that we have a fair playing field in which to compete in the global market, and that we stand equal in the eyes of Lady Justice?

I mean, you really have to marvel at the injustice of the current government, circa 2013, where an illegal immigrant goes to the head of the line in receiving any sort of aid and assistance over a US citizen, and Heaven help that citizen if he is Caucasian, has a high school diploma, and speaks English.

For the past several decades it has been quite obvious that the public education system is broken and that the welfare system is likewise. So what’s the government’s solution? Infusion of additional tax dollars. But if the underlying reasons why those system have failed aren’t addressed, then of course they’ll continue to produce uneducated people, while those collecting welfare will continue to be unemployable because they not only lack the skills; they lack the desire, the drive, the pride of a job well done. Honesty and Patriotism are not subjects our young people are acquainted with.  Just look at who supports the current government, the anti-Constitutional government, the anti-American government.

This so-called “Equality” while we move “Forward” with “Hope and Change” doesn’t smell of reality: it stinks of the corruption of the soul.
