WHAT IS FAKE, AND WHAT IS REAL?

by Sharon Rondeau

Image allegedly released by the White House, taken by the official photographer, Pete Souza, of Obama skeet-shooting at Camp David on August 4, 2012

(Feb. 4, 2013) — After Obama allegedly told two reporters from The New Republic, a clearly left-leaning publication, that he “shoots skeet” frequently while at Camp David, many in the media and the public questioned the claim.

The mainstream media has reported that the White House felt compelled to “defend” the photo released over the weekend allegedly showing Obama engaged in target practice.

However, some left-wing media which have promoted Obama and his policies remain steadfast.  The Washington Post attributes the release of the photo to “a keen awareness of and concern for issues that would have likely been considered beneath most past Administrations,” citing the release of Obama’s purported long-form birth certificate on April 27, 2011 as an example.

“What looks like a minor distraction could tomorrow become a major problem,” the Post contended.

It has been reported that a tweet put out by The New Republic allegedly depicting Obama skeet-shooting was admittedly a fake.  The owner of the publication, Chris Hughes, is a co-founder of Facebook, worked on Obama’s 2008 campaign and has supported his presidency financially.

The photo of Obama skeet-shooting is allegedly from last August 4, 2012.  As The Post & Email reported, Obama was originally expected to be in Chicago for his alleged birthday but went to Camp David instead.  At the time, mainstream media reports showed him golfing, not skeet-shooting.  Infowars made a similar observation as The Post & Email:  that Obama appeared in different clothing in the skeet-shooting photo than the golfing photos published last summer, including a different outfit in which he was photographed boarding Marine One.

Obama had never mentioned skeet-shooting as a hobby or activity prior to the interview with The New Republic.  Press Secretary Jay Carney appeared to have no knowledge of Obama’s target practice.  After several days and questions about how often Obama participated in the sport, the White House released the widely-circulated photo with a warning that it was not to be altered.

However, has “the media” been photoshopping images to portray Obama in a certain way?  How can the anomalies be explained?

A blogger describing himself as a “lifelong shotgunner” said that the photo of Obama is a “complete fraud, like his presidency.”

Glenn Kessler of The Washington Post appeared skeptical of Obama’s skeet-shooting before the photo was released, although he reported through footage of the Kennedys that there is a skeet-shooting range at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland.  Obama’s apparent “hobby” is reported as “new.”

Many do not believe Obama’s claim to use any kind of gun, even recreationally.  Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee appeared to disbelieve Obama when she challenged him to a skeet-shooting match, to which the White House has not responded.

Publications traditionally supportive of Obama have decladed that those doubting Obama’s hobby have begun a new conspiracy theory, and “conservatives” who have stated the official White House photo is manufactured have been ridiculed and called “nut jobs“.

The New York Times reported that “While White House officials privately dismissed skeptics by comparing them to ‘birthers’ who doubted that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii, even some liberals found the skeet-shooting comment hard to believe.”

One website described the photo as a “real Obama skeet shooting photo.”  Why did it have to include the word “real?”  How do they know it is real?

How do we know that in the photo, Obama was “shooting clay targets?”

Fox News has quoted “a source” with apparent knowledge of Obama’s skeet-shooting activity who reported that he had witnessed Obama participating twice and very “uncomfortable” while doing so.  A “top official” of the National Skeet Shooting Association (NSSA) described Obama as “a novice” based on the photo.

Some believe that Obama professed to take part in skeet-shooting often to convince Second Amendment supporters that his aggressive stance on gun control since the Sandy Hook murders will not infringe on their constitutional rights.  Obama was known to have an aversion for guns prior to the attack on Sandy Hook on December 14.

While the mainstream media has been reticent to report on “birthers” or anyone else doubting Obama’s claim of a birth in Hawaii, a law enforcement investigation has declared Obama’s long-form birth certificate a forgery along with his Selective Service registration form.  Instead of conducting their own investigations, the major media companies refused to report the investigators’ findings on national television.

If photos of skeet-shooting are fraudulent, is Obama’s “birth certificate?”

Obama has also not responded to charges of treason brought against him by citizens, including retired military members.  The FBI continues to investigate a series of national security leaks from last June which Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a strong gun-control advocate, claimed emanated from “the White House.”  Feinstein later backtracked on her claim.

To date, no one in the regime has taken responsibility for a reported “stand-down” order to the U.S. military during the siege on a U.S. outpost in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012, which killed four Americans.

Why did Obama dismiss and replace certain military commanders after Benghazi?

The director of the Secret Service has tendered his resignation effective February 23 after testifying last year about the scandal in Colombia involving several members of the agency and the military.

Obama has both said that his parents were married when he was born and that he was born to a single mother.  He claimed to have registered for the Selective Service in 1979 when registration was not required.

Both his 2008 and 2012 campaigns reportedly accepted foreign donations in violation of federal election law.

He is “the only American president that has aliases.”  His birthday has been reported as a date other than August 4, 1961.

What kinds of guns has Obama actually fired, if any?

Can any of his words be believed?

  1. I am not a Skeet shooter but perhaps someone can tell me. WHAT does a skeet shooter shoot at at a Horizontal angle? Aren’t those Clay objects shot at in the Sky?

  2. Stanley Dunham and Barack Obama,Senior were NOT married. At least legally. Barack Obama,Sr.,a bigamist, had several wives in Kenya at the time that he “Married” Stanley.

  3. Obama is good at identity fraud and telling lies. If he did work for the cia as a gunrunner/interpreter in afghanistan,he knows about guns and so does his black muslim gunrunner eric ‘phony’ holder. The only fast and furious we want to see is the arrest and prosecution of obama and all his criminal associates.

  4. Belief in his words are another matter. Systemic to all we know so far are lies upon lies and fraud upon fraud to hide the lies. So the question put another way, is, why would we believe him? Based on …?

  5. “Can any of his words be believed?” Yes! When he said “America is the greatest country in the world, and I am going to change it!”
