I’ve Figured it Out!

DOES IT COME DOWN TO THESE TWO GROUPS?

(May 25, 2012) — No matter what the criteria, Americans can always be relied on to be divided into one of two groups. You have the givers and the takers, for one. Another could be those who like salt and those who can do without it. Some really like Elvis, and there are others who missed out. Some people don’t like “politics” and think that, if they don’t vote, it doesn’t affect them. Then there are the people who watch the food shows, and they can be divided into the precooked vs. homemade. Now if the couple are into the precooked, those shows which visit successful establishments that serve really good food, they’re most likely a little overweight but are a jolly pair. On the other hand, if one of the couple attempts the impossible, “You can easily make this at home!” at least one of them is definitely not in any danger of their wardrobe fitting too tightly.

Then there are some people who have actually read a novel, from cover to cover, since obtaining their high school diploma, while the second group, if asked if they’ve ever read a novel, retort with “What you callin’ my Mama?” Of course these two groups have other differences, the main one being understanding the Constitution or not.  Or, to put it another way, these two groups are made up of people who comprehend the concept of “balance of power.”  They understand the reason behind the checks and balances, the roadblocks put in place to prevent a despot from getting control and acting out his mental illness in full public view as in “Look! I have complete and utter control of the sandbox!” when a tike, and now that he’s a grown-up (physically), mentally he’s still yearning to be the “Ming the Merciless,” the fictional ruler in Flash Gordon.

As nutty as it seems, someone, no matter how serious his “God Complex” may be, always seems to gather followers, people who are bored beyond belief and need to be entertained, which is the reason why television is such a big hit as opposed to reading, for instance. Imagine, if you will, if your world view were based on American television and what came out of Hollywood.  Of course, if you could turn the clock back 50 years, the line between right and wrong wasn’t ever cloudy, a joke didn’t have to have a bunch of four-letter words, and you treated others the way you wished to be treated.  Not today, not even close. Just look at the mainstream media of today and the distortion or complete fabricating of the news.

There are endless ways to try to figure out why a country which lives under the banner of Civil Rights would voluntarily give up those rights, just as there are endless excuses for why people in our law enforcement and military would turn their backs on their Oath to support and defend the Constitution.  I’m suggesting two main causes:  One, a mentally-defective human (Obama) got a bunch of social misfits (Holder, Napolitano, Panetta, and all the other members of his cabinet) and other citizens who couldn’t make it in the outside world, the world where if you don’t produce you’re fired.  In other words, they are your typical lowly government employee who openly supports Obama.  Two, the mass hysteria displayed by the citizens of this country who actually believe that things are bad, and if anything is upsetting with their lives it’s not their own fault, but the fault of a “system” that must be replaced, at whatever cost, including the freedom of speech, who blindly follow.
