The following letter has been sent to the following members of the Kenyan Parliament:

I am writing to you gentlemen today in regard to breaking news here in the United States, which is that Barack Hussein Obama is not Kenyan-born as has been stated by many of you in Kenya’s Parliament!
Today he released his long-form birth certificate, which clearly shows he was born in Hawaii, not in Mombasa or any other place in Kenya. Mr. Peter Orengo, Kenyan Ambassador to the U.S., has also stated publicly that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya. Indeed it was so stated on your Parliament floor several times and how wonderful it was that Barack Obama, born in Kenya, could become the U.S. President.
Sirs, I implore you to stop the charade of trying to claim Barack Obama as one of your own. You have created a huge controversy by your self-serving remarks. Do you really need the tourism dollars so badly that you would perpetrate the lie that the president of the United States was born in Kenya? I realize that Kenya is a poor country and is struggling economically, but it is unconscionable that you would be the instigator of all this political upheaval over Mr. Obama’s constitutional authority to be our president. Cease and desist in your craven madness to take advantage of the political situation in the U.S. with your lies about Barack Obama’s birthplace! He has now made it public: he was born in Hawaii, not Kenya!
Sirs, I would ask one more thing of you and that is to posthaste issue a retraction that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya, and offer your sincerest apologies to the United States citizens and indeed the world for having perpetrated such a deplorable hoax upon the whole world, but especially upon American citizens.

I have been posting this several places, because it is such a simple explanation of the birther’s latest BS.
I have spent the last 15 minutes opening various PDF files in Adobe Illustrator (Mac)- including ones I scanned myself, as well as various types off the internet.
IN EVERY SINGLE CASE multiple “layers” aka “groups” show up in Illustrator. The program itself creates them.
Anybody with Illustrator can try and confirm this.
In other words, there are NO layers in the President’s BC PDF. They are created by Illustrator.
Any PDF that opens in Illustrator will have one layer, which can be clicked for a dropdown of additional “layers” or “groups” created by Illustrator.
And no need for special “Polarik” type files, software, or techniques to confirm this. No great expertise needed. No need to scan files yourself, or if you do, worry about scan or OCR settings.
ANYBODY with Illustrator and a handful of PDF files can confirm this.

Mrs. Rondeau replies: I heard that a different version of the image was posted at the White House website yesterday and that now it has been removed. Does anyone have a screenshot of a “second” version, if there was one?
Okay good idea, however a missed opportunity to have said unless Kenya Parliament cares to provide an official government copy of a birth certificate or registration that says he was born in Kenya with a government seal. I recommend that you send the Kenya document to several news sources or it will never be seen by the world.
Why should she be the only one to send it out? We all are in this together; let’s join ranks where we can. United we stand!
I would believe that is the knee jerk expected from the writer.

I think this letter, whether satire or not, is clever. If not for that danged taqyah thing that One Pissed-off Vietnam Vet mentioned, we might could get the Kenyans working so hard to prove he’s the son of their soil that a federal prison full of document forgers couldn’t keep up with them. Sigh…oh, to dream…
I like the letter, maybe the Kenyan Parliament members will provide a copy of the same Mombasa birth certificate Lucas Smith has in his possession.
I hope they respond in some fashion to the letter.
Mrs. Sweet may have been overly generous when she said that O’s HI bc “clearly shows he was born in Hawaii,” since not everything about this document is entirely clear. For instance, the Kenyan bc from Coast Province General Hospital, which has been in the public domain for a very long time, says baby O was born Aug. 4, 1961 at 7:24 p.m. The HI doc released today says Obama was born on the same day at EXACTLY the same time, down to the minute: 7:24 p.m.
If the Kenyan bc were forged, what is the probability that a forger could have guessed the exact minute of O’s Hawaiian birth, which was unknown until today? Very close to zero probability, I’d say. It seems that Mrs Sweet also forgot to consider Hawaii’s lax rules for registering births, their provisions for amending birth records, and the history of confusing information coming from Hawaiian officials who have a vested interest in their “favorite son”–not to mention the enormous incentive for producing a doctored HI document.
So, Mrs. Sweet, you might want to advise the Kenyan authorities to purge their birth records of Obama’s documents because they do not meet the test of political correctness necessary to the continued operation of a fraudulent U.S. government.
The FightTheSmears.com COLB lists time of birth at 7:24pm. Since it was posted before Smith’s document was introduced to the Internet (initially at eBay) and definitely before the document Barky presented yesterday, the details it lists could have been copied by the other two.
Thanks, Auntie, for the correction. My bad. Still, the birth-time could have been transmitted by Ann in Kenya to her mother in Hawaii, where the birth could have then been registered and later amended/doctored. Guess we will never know.
For an United States citizen asking the Kenyan Prime Minister and Honorable Kenyan Members of Parliament to lie is unconscionable.
WE ALL KNOW THAT YOUR LETTER IS SATIRE, but they may not. I hope you added a post-scriptum stating that you’re just having a little bit of fun, and asked them to continue to be proud of one of their own for achieving the Presidency of the United States of America.
There is no need to add that, by having Obama as our President, we, in so doing, trashed our beloved Constitution, and all of the lives lost and sacrifices made in its name has been in vain.
Also, there’s no need to say that their favorite son is destroying America, but since that’s what he was hired to do, he is doing a real bang-up job. Also that he is aiding Muslims in the destruction of Israel, and that the American dollar will soon be on par with the peso.
Also that, anyone with half a brain, can see that America will be under Sharia Law within thirty years, if not sooner. My God, just look at how far England has fallen with the influx of their Muslim hoards in the last ten years.
A Muslim lying in the advancement of Islam is not lying; he is advancing jihad. Obama is continuing to be a good Kenyan and don’t remove that birthplace marker!

mam — do not jump to conclusions. this document is already believed to be a forgery and a fake for many reasons. this document has to be examined by forenics experts and other people before it can be declared valid. after that the usurpur may be worse off than before. somebody will be going to hawaii to seek verification on this piece of trash. trust but verify.
Johnny, I think the writer to Kenya’s parliament knows exactly what she is doing…..perhaps it will get just the reaction from the indignant Kenyan prime ministers that she is hoping for.
