AS SOMEONE TRAINED IN THE LAW, DOES SHE EVEN KNOW THE CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT?

Is Megyn Kelly covering up for what Fox News failed to report three years ago?

Dear Editor:

The following email was sent to Megyn Kelly of Fox News yesterday:

From:Durus Helm
Sent:Fri 12/31/10 6:46 PM
To: kelly@foxnews.com

Mrs. Kelly:

Why don’t you give your viewers a comprehensive story on the Founders’ reasons for including the “natural born Citizen” qualification for the office of President and Vice President, considering that those are the only two offices in the federal government which require those who fill those offices to be “natural born Citizens” of the United States of America in order to serve in those offices.

You do know that Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the Constitution established the qualifications for the office of President as:

1) No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

The relevant portion of this qualification for the office today, would be:

No person except a natural born Citizen … shall be eligible to the Office of President.

2) neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years.

3) and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Did I just say that the Vice President is also required to be a “natural born Citizen”? You betcha.

12th Amendment, Constitution: But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

However, like the rest of your cohorts, Glenn Beck, for example, who cries continuously that we all need to “Question With Boldness” and stand as bulwarks in support of the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, none of you have the guts to cover the most egregious violation of the Constitution, in a fair and balanced way, and with integrity.

Obama’s ineligibility for the office of President is the 800-pound gorilla sitting on the curvy couch with you, as you sit there looking like the three monkeys, “See No Evil,” “Hear No Evil” and “Speak No Evil.”

Obama was a British subject at birth who owes allegiance to who knows how many foreign sovereigns? This is the most egregious act of the 111th Congress, which stands in direct violation of the Founders’ intent for including the “natural born Citizen” qualification for the office of the President in the Constitution.

Now if you are not willing to cover the most egregious violation of the Constitution in a fair and balanced way, I would like for you to appear on Glenn Beck’s show where Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck and you have a little party on the show, where all three of you would use the cutting instrument of your choice to cut out the “natural born Citizen” qualification for the office of President from your own personal copies of the Constitution, then you could spend the rest of the show admiring the holes in your personal copy of the Constitution.

While you are admiring the hole in your personal Constitution, you could also, on the show, invite every tinpot dictator from around the world to take up residency in the United States, where in just 14 years, provided they are age 35 and over, any one of them would be eligible to serve in the office of the President of the United States and as Commander-in-Chief of America’s Armed Forces.

Based upon the language of Article II, Section 1, Clause 4 and the guidance provided by Wong Kim Ark, we conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are “natural born Citizens” for Article II, Section 1 purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents. Just as a person “born within the British dominions [was] a natural-born British subject” at the time of the framing of the U.S. Constitution, so too were those “born in the allegiance of the United States natural-born citizens.”

Durus, The Fox cabal acting to cut out parts of the Constitution that it does not care for would NOT change the real document. That has to be done by legal process. “Tinpot dictators” will never be eligible to be POTUS unless they meet ALL the requirements of the US Constitution. It is counterproductive to even suggest such a scenario, even in jest and sarcasm. As is the case now,we already HAVE a “tinpot dictator” in the Oval office.HE MUST BE REMOVED.

A Constitutionally qualified POTUS who is a “tinpot dictator” can be impeached and the constitution is intact. Having allowed a foreigner to ascend to the Presidency in derogation of the Constitution is where the trouble began. Kelly is a disgrace to the Law Profession and a Hypocrite.

Megyn Kelly like 99.99% of today’s lawyers and judges create their arguments and make decisions based on Case Law and not Constitutional Law. This explains why Megyn Kelly presented her warped view on her show.

The only person Bill O’Reilly agrees with is his comedian friend, which he considers to be highly intellectual, Dennis Miller which explains why O’Reilly won’t listen to any of the true intellectuals in the general populace. Since O”Reilly was a teacher he thinks we must not be educated enough to be able to sensibly contradict his beliefs. O”Reilly is a self-serving, egotistical ignoramous ex-teacher that treats everyone that does not agree with him like children who disagreed with their elementary school teachers when they were in school. I believe we all had a teacher that we can associate with that statement.

Glenn Beck is no better than his other fellow Arabic Servants of Kelly, O”Reilly, Hannity, etc, Glenn preaches to us about the Constitution but also dismisses and ridicules those who hold to the Constitution when it comes OBama. He is in fact the biggest bigot since he constantly slams Obama but defends him when it comes to Presidential Qualifications.

I, myself, watch Fox News more than any other, in fact I don’t watch any other channels other than to get my local news or to have another good laugh (I am well past the disbelief or shocked stages), but an extremely disappointed with FOX’s claim to be “Fair and Balanced”. I am forced to tune in to the Lesser of All Evils.

I think their new motto should be “Fare and Biased” with “Fare” applying to how they bow to their Arabic Sponsors who pay their Salaries/Fares and “Biased” apllying to when it comes to the truth, they are biased to reporting what is important to their own careers rather than to the welfare of this country and its “Lawful Citizens”, or the real “We the People” not “We the Arabic Sponsors”.

Protect and defend Article 2 Section 1.

If two citizen parents was not required for ‘Natural Born Citizen’ status then there is no possible logical reason for the adoption clause of Article 2 Section 1. The founders all had foreign born parents and were themselves U.S. citizens by oath of allegiance to the Republic. It takes a generation to produce the very first ‘Natural born Citizen’.

You’re wasting your time with Fox or any other “mainstream news” organization – their feet are in cement. Come to think of it their heads… Nah – Not on the holidays :-)
They can’t turn back now – In for a penny in for a pound. Good journalism after bad.
They have already sold out – There’s no tomorrow for these folks.

Ironically, The very rational for the insertion of the Natural Born requirement was to keep British subjects from infiltrating our government… whom of which may have allegiance to a foreign sovereign, and wish to impose tyranny on the American people… and what do we have now that this Constitutional mandate has not been followed? A British National imposing tyranny on America….

I wonder if Kelly will still have that ‘snearing’ smile on her face when the light of day exposes the truth… and her ‘lawyer genius’ claim to fame, is floating in the toilet with the rest of the crap? Bet not.

If you look at “discussion” on this subject by any of the pundits, left or right, you will see the same adamant attitude that this issue has long been resolved and that Obama “is an American Citizen.” I find this reaction from all sides very interesting. Especially when you do a flow chart to the people at the very top of these “news” organizations…this topic is considered plastic explosives, noone wants to touch it.

Wishful thinking: This would make a great demonstration in front of Fox News in the city. :)

Great letter. Megyn Kelly is probably confused because as a lawyer she’s relying on ridiculous and un-binding court decisions like Ankeny v. Indiana and U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. (Any court decision that is contrary to the constitutional is un-binding.)

We the People know that court cases are totally irrelevant. It’s what we feel that’s important. And we can feel it in our bones that Nobama is the usurper and anti-Christ.

(Beck and O’Reilley are just hewing the party line dictated by Fox’s Muslim investors. Megyn is confused because she’s a lawyer.)

We don’t need proof. We need the Usurper to be frog marched out of OUR Whitehouse.

Thank you. God Bless and Happy New Year.

No, what the Constitution says is important. What you feel is totally irrelevant if it is against the Constitution, and a tautology if it agrees with the Constitution.
