AS A WYOMING NEWS CORPORATION, WE AIM TO ADVANCE CITIZEN JOURNALISM

The Wyoming State Seal depicts the ranchers and miners who founded the state in 1890.

(Feb. 10, 2010) — On January 28, 2010, The Post & Email incorporated in the state of Wyoming as a for-profit corporation.  The history behind the nascent corporation is a short and rapid one.

Mr. John Charlton, the founder of the corporation, began The Post & Email as a WordPress-hosted blog on Aug. 28, 2009.  After receiving more than 100,000 hits in the first two months, he solicited funds from the readership and transformed the blog into an electronic newspaper on Dec. 1, 2009, hosted on its own domain, thepostemail.com.

Due to the popularity of the site and overwhelming support of readers, sufficient funds were raised to incorporate the electronic newspaper.  Wyoming was chosen to host the new company because it has no corporate taxes and represents the best of the American spirit of individualism and free-market enterprise.

Through the new site, Mr. Charlton and a small team of volunteers have blazed a trail of citizen-journalism.  The Post & Email is the premier online news source for the Eligibility Movement and features daily reports covering Obama’s ineligibility for office.  Reports are written by a staff of volunteers and citizen-journalists who either spontaneously offer their submissions or are encouraged to do so by the team of volunteers.

The electronic newspaper currently promotes a host of additional projects which support citizens’ rights: it promotes a Hawaii Petition Campaign, which assists citizens to petition the Hawaii Government for the release of Obama’s vital records; it has established a Legal Fund to defray the expenses of citizens who are preparing and/or will take legal action against the Hawaii Department of Health for a denial of their statutory rights to seek the disclosure of government records in accordance with Hawaii’s Uniform Information Practices Act; it is currently raising funds to put an ad for the Hawaii Petition Campaign on the Drudge Report, to acquire documentary evidence to expose Obama’s background/activities and to assist citizens in their actions aginst the Hawaii Department of Health.  It is also inviting the general public to canvas signatures for the Petition Campaign.

Mr. Charlton chose to incorporate to give the electronic newspaper a legal framework in which it can continue its work in the future.  The Post & Email’s sources of income are direct advertising, licensing fees for the syndication of its content, and the monetary donations of its readership.

In addition, The Post & Email, Inc., intends to seek to syndicate its news service around the globe, to promote citizen journalism in other countries.  The electronic newspaper has begun to seek interested partners in the United Kingdom and Europe.

I was born in Cheyenne (and I have a birth certificate to prove it). Selling stock is a great idea! The world needs a truly unbiased investigative news source. Good luck!

John Charlton, you have started something Big here with The Post & Email, something that will prove to be absolutely crucial to the survival of America, and to the restoration of our Constitution values, as the founders of same, and our forefathers intended it to be. I forward The Post & Email link repeatedly to my friends as a must read every day, if we are to actually survive this tyrannical power grab by Obama (or whatever his name is) and the Democrats. THANK YOU JOHN !!!
