Nidal Malik Hasan was known to have been communicating with terrorists but was allowed to remain as a psychiatrist in the U.S. Army, where he eventually killed 13 people, one of whom was expecting a child, on November 5, 2009. Thirty-two were injured. After admitting to the attack during court-martial, Hasan was sentenced to death in August 2013.

“Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Some have said that the death penalty can be used as a deterrent for murder. This is not such a case. In the case of executing the rabid – I know, redundant – Muslim who was caught while murdering his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, it will be an exercise in satisfaction. That justice will finally be served will be a relief to all of us patriots.
