(Oct. 8, 2026) — On 4/28/25, Quartz Mountain Commentary published “The Fall of Fox.” In that article, the cast of “Succession”-like characters was revealed, and they were accelerating the destruction of a once-great news channel. This is an excerpt of what was written in April 2025:
“Rupert Murdoch stepped down as chairman of the Fox News Corp in September 2023 and his relatively conservative son, Lachlan, was named to take control of Fox News to maintain a conservative viewpoint. An attempt to change an irrevocable trust to consolidate Lachlan’s control as the sole head of Fox failed in December 2024 and control was spread to his six children: three of whom are left leaning. His younger brother, James is liberal but not as liberal as his Manhattan party circuit wife Kathryn. The AWFL (Affluent White Female Liberal) cabal consists of Kathryn, sister Elisabeth and sister Prudence which are obsessed with climate change and hating Trump.”
Today’s Fox News Channel is racing MS Now, née MSNBC, and CNN towards oblivion. The screeching sound of Jessica Tarlov is less melodious than fingernails on a blackboard. She spouts false Democrat talking points as fast as Greg Gutfeld can school her on the facts. Fox News is giving inordinate air time to DSA apparatchiks whose goal is the abrogation of the United States Constitution. The anti-Israel brigade is also not in short supply. They have a focus on Democrat heavy polls which denigrate the Republican Party and President Trump.
The only person to whom Fox News gives little to no airtime is President Trump. They completely censored the visit of China’s Chairman Xi to the White House which was of worldwide importance. Their excuse was that they stood in solidarity with CNN in response to CNN losing its invitation to the White House. Instead, Fox News failed to stand with the American People who need television coverage of such events. Fox News is no longer covering Trump’s campaign stops. Their Trump Derangement Syndrome has metastasized since Fox News prematurely called Biden the 2020 winner in Arizona. The conclusion is that new Looney Tune Murdochs are behind the swing to the Left.
The Conservative opinion shows like “Hannity” and “The Ingraham Angle” are probably in danger when their contracts expire. If they get the pink slip, then they should be able to find a new home on Newsmax. Newsmax has grown in maturity since it went public in March 2025. It is pro-Israel and pro-Trump while also reporting on the Hamas and “No Kings” people.
It is difficult to wean off of what one has been a fan of since the inception of Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News Corporation. FNC is infected with the Manhattan social circuit and it increasingly doesn’t represent the American People. You can start by tuning away from FNC to Newsmax a little bit at a time. Try it. You might like it.
