(Aug. 16, 2026) — The problem with Leftists’ political focus can be encapsulated in a single reply:
Ro Khanna (D-CA): net worth, $340,000,000, this morning on Meet the Press replied to Kristin Welker’s question as to whether he would be a better 2028 candidate than AOC. His answer says all you need to know about Leftist/Right-Brained “Logic”; “Look, AOC is an enormous talent.”
He didn’t list personal intellect, accomplishments or successes, business acumen, service or even morality, because she has none like Obama before her. Instead, he drew on the one thing that might gain her a following on America’s Got Talent, Dancing With the Stars or as a contender for high school prom Homecoming Queen.
Unfortunately, a growing percentage of the People “think” like him. They vote as if they’re sitting at the Oscars rather than choosing the most qualified. In place of good, responsible stewardship, they look for the most glamorous, flamboyant and outrageous.
The federal government’s primary Constitutional responsibility is the security of the Constitution and then the Nation; the people, borders, infrastructure. Social programs and related concerns of the citizenry are the responsibility of state government. Burdening, for instance, Maine’s population through onerous taxation and regulation to ease concerns in California is antithetical to the Constitutional concept of Federalism and the preservation of state autonomy. It does, however, act as a softening agent to encourage societal acceptance of Collectivism/Socialism/Communism touted by Marx, influencing writers like G.B. Shaw and Roddenberry and enacted by Lenin and Mao Tse Tung with horrific result.
The Leftist movement cries oppression, and then in a bit of astonishing irony, fiercely supports a governmental system with an established history of slaughter, cleansing, starvation, forced labor, zero recognized natural Rights, implementation and enforcement of a de facto caste system.
Ro Khanna is shamelessly riding on the running board of the DSA freight train while protesting being labeled as such. There is a well-established word to describe someone like him who sells his soul, his name and even his image for power and money: whore.
While he and his ilk continue to hawk up and spray their Collectivist sputum, you know, “for the children,” I have a question for all these Leftist multi-millionaires and billionaires telling us to give more through government theft; who is stopping you, Ro Khanna, AOC, Mamdani, Pritzker, Pelosi, Schumer, El Sayed and Newsom, from walking-their-talk and donating half or three-quarters of YOUR “ill-gotten-gain,” you know, for the children?
More important, why aren’t the Leftist intelligentsia fueled, envy-driven, Communist- demanding Leftist voters asking them?
