(Mar. 9, 2026) — As this story goes to press, “The Highwire” is hosting a conference in Washington, DC titled “Massive Epidemic of Vaccine Injury (MEVI)” sponsored by “The MAHA Institute.”

The Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF) founded by entrepreneur Steve Kirsch is also broadcasting the event live.

“Throughout the event,” “The Highwire” wrote on the livestream’s webpage, “speakers will discuss the scientific, medical, and legal dimensions of vaccine injury claims, the current systems for reporting and compensation, and what policy changes may be needed moving forward. The goal is to foster open dialogue and bring greater public awareness to questions surrounding vaccine safety and regulatory decision-making.”

At approximately 3:42 p.m. EDT, Dr. Elizabeth Mumper, a Virginia-based physician and frequent guest at Children’s Health Defense (CHD) founded by now-HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., spoke about her observations of a normally-developing baby she vaccinated with the MMR vaccine in accordance with the CDC childhood schedule and “before her eyes” became physically ill, “regressed” and “lost all his milestones.”

Mumper admitted to the child’s parents, she said, that she “believed it was the vaccine.”

Following Mumper’s remarks, Dr. Larry Palevsky, a “holistic pediatrician” and former emergency room physician, related that a parent brought to his attention that “there’s a lot of mercury in vaccines.”

After researching the claim and finding it valid, Palevsky said, he committed himself to providing “informed consent” to parents, then ceased administering vaccines. After making that decision, he said, he “lost hospital privileges” and access to electronic medical records.

He later began treating chronic illnesses in new pediatric patients, he said.

Parents vocalizing suspected harm from vaccines, he said, have transcended the typical hesitation surrounding the subject, which he opined is “on its way out.”

Autism, the onset of seizures, asthma, childhood obesity, physical and mental conditions and chronic inflammation are rising in children, Palevsky said when he spoke again.
