In the depths of winter’s darkness,
God sent angels to your side
Beckoning as you lay sleeping
Come, dear heart; we’ll be your guide.
That moment many years ago
Would place you in a chair for life
Stealing all those special moments
Bringing sadness, tears and strife.
But you now are in His kingdom
Running among fields aglow
Chasing birds and full of laughter
Nevermore to suffer so.
Each new day the light is shining
As you roam that blissful place
In heav’nly body, mind and spirit,
Blessed forever by His grace.

What a blessed hope we have for the Lord to exchange these bodies of humiliation for our “heav’nly body, mind and spirit.”
HE IS OUR HOPE…
