(Dec. 16, 2025) — I am republishing an updated version of my first Christmas post on Substack for a couple of reasons.
First, it’s one of my favorites. As I reread it, hindsight spotted a few improvements that I think have made it better.
More importantly, both the platform and By Green Pastures have changed a lot since 2022. Substack has grown, and my publication has considerably more readers. Times are different, and so is the audience.
This piece may be new to a lot of you. I hope it blesses you.
