“And that’s my opening. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to ‘The Pulse of the Nation,’ the place to hear it here first. Pastor Dunkin will grace our airwaves. Take it away, Pastor Dunkin.”
“There once was a sailor whose only job was to repaint the ship’s mess decks a couple of weeks before Thanksgiving. He would order the paint and brushes, the tarps and the rags and each day would take inventory. Needless to say, he was a very conscientious sailor. One day the ship hit a coral reef and was in danger of sinking. The captain called for all hands to assist in damage control, but our sailor, Rand Paul, would rather see the mess decks painted than save the ship.”
“That was very good. What good is being a Libertarian if there’s no country to care about?”
“Exactly. Poor Rand Paul, a ‘train has left the station’ kind of guy, blinded by his ‘holier than thou’ attitude. May he join Nancy Pelosi in life after Congress.”
“Well said, Pastor Dunkin.”
“Thank you. I want to say a prayer for the uninformed among us, if I may.”
“By all means, for sure; go for it.”
“Heavenly Father, some of us are lost little sheep who are looking for the way home. Some very bad people in our government have welcomed the destroyers of Western Civilization into our fold and we don’t like it, not one bit. We point out the fact that no matter where Muslims go, death and destruction follow.
“Meanwhile, for those of us who are keeping a tally, over 1,000 Christians are being slaughtered by Muslims every single week in Africa. Are we not our brother’s keeper?
“And in our own country, we have planes flying into buildings and pressure cooker bombs and Jew-bashing daily and still many don’t see the writing on the wall. Many see the carnage but remain passive. Many think that these senseless killings are an anomaly, enacted by a few delusional radicals, never knowing that the perpetrators of the murders are what Islam is all about and have been for the past millennium without a pause.
“May I repeat myself? I said, ‘without a pause.’ What has happened in other parts of the world will happen here. An Israel-type Oct. 7 will happen here. Jews or Christians, what’s the difference? Death is death, and the Muslims preach death every day. If Islam ever accepted the Golden Rule, it would destroy it.
“Lord, I have a pulpit, but no one is listening. In order for the blind to see, must they be on the plane before it crashes? Must they be in line for the showers before it dawns on them that they should’ve supported the deportation of the Muslims? I preach the obvious but there’s no one listening, for sure no one in the Department of Homeland Security which has the power to act on our behalf to save our country, let alone itself.
“They say Islam is a religion. So what? Muslims are here to conquer, not to assimilate. So, this I beseech you, Lord: could you make the fools understand that we better act and act now because when it’s too late, it’ll be too late? Amen.”
“That was very good, Pastor Dunkin.”
