Will Truth Social Discover — and Fix — the Issue?

(Aug. 7, 2025) — On Tuesday, in regard to difficulties a Truth Social user reported to the platform’s support center over the last ten days, Truth Social responded for the third time with four questions.

Beginning in late July, the user has been met with “Captcha” verification requests upon signing in and out and graphical images stating the site is down or that “an unexpected error occurred.”

Last week his internet provider performed extensive analysis of his internet connection, hardware and browsing capability but found Truth Social to be the only site presenting any difficulty.

The user has questioned whether he is being “shadowbanned” since he can post at times but not others without interference.

For this writer, the user’s timeline begins on January 27, 2025, at least a month after he opened the account. It then proceeds to February 9, then goes backward from February 4. However, direct links he has sent via email indicate he has posted recently and often, multiple times a day.

“Are you using a VPN?” was Truth Social’s first query, to which the user replied, “No.”

“Support” then asked if he accessed the platform on any of several devices it associated with an “app.”

“Regardless of device, access is via the web, not an app,” the user responded. “App [sic] steal personal data and track people. Something that is un-American.”

The third question was whether “cookies or cache” had been cleared from the user’s browser.

“Yes, numerous times,” was the response. “I even did an update on my phone and browser on my laptop.”

At that point Support asked if he tried logging out and logging back in, to which the reply was simply, “Yes.”

Finally, the user was asked to send a screenshot of the error messages he has received, and the Support person — or system — expressed an eagerness to restore the account to full capability.
