(Jul. 26, 2025) — On Saturday morning, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard appeared on “Fox & Friends” and spoke to the “obstacles” she has encountered in releasing the “revelations” from the intel community released just over a week ago regarding what she alleges to be a “treasonous conspiracy” on the part of Obama, his intelligence officials, and other White House advisers against then-President-Elect Donald J. Trump.
The conspiracy, she wrote in a press release on July 18, arose when Obama prompted the intelligence community (IC) to create a narrative that the 2016 Trump campaign “colluded” with the Russian government to tip the election result in Trump’s favor.
“On Friday, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard revealed overwhelming evidence that demonstrates how, after President Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, President Obama and his national security cabinet members manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump,” the July 18 press release commences.
The mainstream media was “complicit,” Gabbard said, in reporting the IC’s leaked claims at the time “without any vetting.” “They went on to double down on this over the next several years,” she said, similar to their reporting on the Iraq “weapons of mass destruction” narrative during the George W. Bush era.
“It really has to do with the foundational principles of our democratic republic and our integrity,” Gabbard said.
On Wednesday, Gabbard declassified a September 18, 2020 House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) report claiming, among other things, then-CIA Director John Brennan “ordered the postelection publication of 15 reports containing previously collected but unpublished intelligence, three of which were substandard-containing information that was unclear, of uncertain origin, potentially biased, or implausible-and those became foundational sources for the ICA judgments that Putin preferred Trump over Clinton. The ICA misrepresented these reports as reliable, without mentioning their significant underlying flaws.”
When co-host Charlie Hurt asked Gabbard about Obama’s response to the allegations delivered by a spokesman who termed them “ridiculous,” Gabbard found it lacking. Rather than denying her claims out of hand, she said, Obama should have asked, “What are the sources? What proof do you have of this high-confidence assessment?”
The statement from Obama’s spokesman, Patrick Rodenbush, reads:
“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction.
“Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.”
Obama’s “carefully-worded response” avoided the issue, Gabbard claimed.
She then called out Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) for failing to provide an email address to a whistleblower for reporting alleged intel community transgressions.
“When you look at everything that happened…multiple investigations from Mueller and others, there are a lot of questions that remain unanswered,” she added. “We continue in our core mission…of bringing transparency and accountability.”
Directly after the interview concluded, co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy remarked that the intel community’s concoction of the “Russia” narrative was the “greatest scandal” ever to take place in the nation’s history.
Respectfully, there would never have been an Obama WITHOUT THE CIA. To me, that was and continues to be our country’s biggest problem. It comes “FROM WITHIN.”
As far as Barack HUSSEIN Obama aka Barry Soetoro is concerned, as an INDIVIDUAL he likely is as close to the anti-Christ as any one person in the world. I’m not saying that he is, but I am saying that he is one of the “candidates.” Now, that’s an “election” (or, if you prefer, a “competition”) which I could really get behind!
Nevertheless, as many of you already know (from my writings on the P&E website and/or from eyes in high places in our Government), it is my opinion that NO ONE INDIVIDUAL OR ORGANIZATION IS AS UN-AMERICAN, TRAITOROUS, OR PRONE TO EVIL AS OUR ROGUE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY. Reform is needed. It wouldn’t hurt if the “spooks” in the CIA would “unlearn” their penchant for telling lies, covering up their mistakes and wrongdoing, and the carrying out of lethal harm to others (as in assassinations).
It is a shame that SOMEONE, ANYONE must be the Director of the CIA. At this point in our country’s history that unfortunate bureaucrat would be John Ratcliffe, who, believe it or not, seems outwardly like a “pretty good guy.” Proof will be “in the pudding.” Better yet, let’s call it the “TRUTH.”
