DNI Gabbard Releases Explosive Report on “Treasonous Conspiracy” Targeting Trump

(Jul. 18, 2025) — On Friday Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard issued a press release and documentation she said demonstrated key members of the Obama regime, particularly from the intelligence community, created and perpetrated a “yearslong coup” against 2016 presidential candidate and 45th President Donald J. Trump.

In a series of striking revelations, Gabbard wrote in the release:

• In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community (IC) consistently assessed that Russia is “probably not trying … to influence the election by using cyber means.”
• On December 7, 2016, after the election, talking points were prepared for DNI James Clapper stating, “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the US Presidential election outcome.”
• On December 9, 2016, President Obama’s White House gathered top National Security Council Principals for a meeting that included James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Loretta Lynch, Andrew McCabe and others, to discuss Russia.
• After the meeting, DNI Clapper’s Executive Assistant sent an email to IC leaders tasking them with creating a new IC assessment “per the President’s request” that details the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.” It went on to say, “ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS.”
• …On January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment was released that directly contradicted the IC assessments that were made throughout the previous six months.

“The information we are releasing today clearly shows there was a treasonous conspiracy in 2016 committed by officials at the highest level of our government…,” Gabbard further wrote. Those responsible, she said, displayed an “egregious abuse of power and blatant rejection of our Constitution” which “threatens the very foundation and integrity of our democratic republic.”

She referenced the now-infamous “Steele dossier” which became the basis for the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation of the Trump campaign for alleged “collusion” with the Russian government in connection with the outcome of the election.

The “Mueller investigation” allegedly sought evidence to substantiate the FBI’s decision to open the probe, but after 22 months, former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller, III admitted his team had found no evidence of “collusion” between the campaign and the Kremlin.

Several former campaign aides, however, took plea deals and/or served prison time for alleged “process” crimes during interviews with Mueller’s investigators, many of whom were or had been active in Democrat politics.

Trump has long referred to the Mueller probe as the “Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.”

Gabbard included the two impeachments of Trump as part of the conspiracy. The first, arising in 2019, alleged Trump had “abused power” by pressuring Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to open an investigation into Hunter and Joe Biden’s activities within Ukraine from 2014 to 2016, with U.S. aid reportedly connected to Zelensky’s cooperation.

Former Congressman and House Permanent Subcommittee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes, now leading the Trump Media & Technology Group, had accused then-Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) of having “concocted” the narrative leading to the House’s impeachment of the president on December 18, 2019.

On Tuesday Trump accused Schiff, now a U.S. Senator, of “mortgage fraud” for allegedly claiming his Maryland property as his primary residence to obtain more favorable terms, a claim Schiff denied.

On February 5, 2020, Trump was acquitted on the Articles of Impeachment by the U.S. Senate.

The second impeachment was announced on January 13, 2021, one week after the unrest at the U.S. Capitol which directly resulted in the deaths of Rosanne Boyland and Ashli Babbitt.

“No matter how powerful, every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, to ensure nothing like this ever happens again,” Gabbard wrote in closing. “The American people’s faith and trust in our democratic republic and therefore the future of our nation depends on it. As such, I am providing all documents to the Department of Justice to deliver the accountability that President Trump, his family, and the American people deserve.”

According to Fox News sources on July 11, Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey, who Trump fired in May 2017, are “under criminal investigation for potential wrongdoing related to the Trump–Russia probe, including allegedly making false statements to Congress.”

In recent weeks, former Maricopa County, AZ Sheriff Joseph Arpaio has frequently revisited on X the unfolding of a criminal investigation he authorized of the “long-form” birth certificate image bearing the name “Barack Hussein Obama II” released by the White House on April 27, 2011.

On March 1, lead investigator Michael Zullo declared at a press conference that his team could not authenticate the image but rather, had found it to be a “computer-generated forgery,” along with Obama’s Selective Service registration form.

On July 15, Arpaio wrote that Brennan was “a main architect of The Russia Hoax AND Obama’s FAKE government documents.”

On Trump’s third full day in office, he revoked the security clearances of 51 former intelligence agents who signed an open letter stating that the Hunter Biden laptop story “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Brennan was among those whose clearance was pulled.

The documents released by Gabbard’s office include a 114-page report and 11-page “memo” which contains a timeline of her office’s findings.

The first entry is dated August 31, 2016 and states, “A DHS official tells former DNI James Clapper that there was ‘no indication of a Russian threat to directly manipulate the actual vote count.’”

Later in the document, however, a December 9, 2016 “Meeting of the Principals Committee” is noted to have resulted in a report from the Intelligence Community asserting, “at the President’s request,” that “Moscow” took specific steps “to influence the US presidential election in 2016” including “hacks,” “cyber activity” and “media spin,” among others.

After the issuance of the press release, referring back to his July 15 comment, Arpaio wrote that the files Gabbard made public provided proof that “John Brennan and James Clapper conspired with Obama to craft the Russia Hoax through the knowingly fake Steele Dossier- delivered by the same firm that delivered Obama’s fake birth certificate, Perkins Coie!”

On March 6, the White House announced that “President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to suspend security clearances held by individuals at Perkins Coie LLP, pending a review of whether their access to sensitive information is consistent with the national interest.”

In an earlier post, Arpaio referenced the demise of then-Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH) Director Loretta Fuddy after she reportedly provided two certified copies of Obama’s “long-form” birth certificate to Corley.

Several of the timeline events took place around the time of the third and final press conference Arpaio held on the birth certificate probe on December 15, 2016, with Zullo speaking the majority of the time.

The following day, Gabbard’s memo reported Obama have claimed, regarding his early September 2016 trip to China:

What I was concerned about in particular was making sure that [Wikileaks/Clinton emails] wasn’t compounded by potential hacking that could hamper vote counting and affect the actual
election process itself. And so in early September, when I saw President Putin in China, I felt that
the most effective way to ensure that, that didn’t happen was to talk to him directly. And tell him
to cut it out.

“Multiple IC assessments before and after the election consistently showed no credible reporting
of Russian intent or capability to do what President Obama alleges,” the report then states.

Zullo has said on multiple occasions that in regard to the birth certificate forgery, “All roads are going to lead back to John Brennan.”
