As much as I cherish my British heritage, Britain’s ability to protect Australia ended with the fall of Singapore to the Japanese in WWII, which prompted then-Labor PM John Curtin to very wisely immediately bring our Diggers home from Europe (Crete) and Africa (Uncle Bill Hutchins was a “Rat of Tobruk!”).
The ever-so-sage Curtin knew only America could save Australia in any war threat from Asia, with America ultimately saving Australia from the then-Japanese Empire, especially after Japan’s bombing of Darwin, its shelling of several Queensland cities and NSW’s Newcastle, and its submarines attacking Sydney Harbour!
Yes, support the Ukraine with weaponry and supplies, Labor PM Anthony Albanese! However, learn from Labor’s WWII PM John Curtin and keep our Diggers home, safe and sound, from Putin’s gigantic nuclear-armed Russia! Why? Because Putin has already implied he would use nuclear weapons against Ukraine, and Russia’s Putin has sworn allegiance to Communist Red China’s Xi Jinping, whose navy has recently completely sailed Australia, live-firing cannons off every Australian seaboard major capital city.
And do you know what, folks? The Red Chinese naval force was only discovered by a domestic airliner and not by Australia’s present military capabilities, so just how can Albanese’s Labor government ask our Diggers to face Xi’s nuclear threat in Russia’s Vladimir Putin’s vow to have no foreign troops on the ground in the Ukraine?
